Fold The Tent Conservatives
The Bulletin ^ | 02/06/2008 | Michael P. Tremoglie

If Limbaugh, Dobson and the rest are not going to vote Republican because they might not like Republican nominee does this mean they are going to move out of the country if and when Hillary/Obama are elected - like Alec Baldwin promised to do when Bush was elected?

I’ve heard enough along this line of logic. It’s just an attempt to coerce me, into choosing more evil.

I agree with both of you. The sock puppets are vaguely amusing, and vastly pathetic, IMO.

They first ought to admit the Reagan coalition is gone, one half literally dead the other half joining the AARP and waiting for a gooberment check. Small government indeed.

I will be praying daily for retirement for 2 supremes this year, so that Bush could atleast get another 2 up there. Hey, atleast with God, all things are possible!

...they’d be sitting out the next 20 years of Supreme Court decisions.

What makes you think a President McCain wouldn't "...reach across the aisle to my good friend, Senator Kennedy, to get his suggestions on appropriate Supreme Court nominations"?

And what if the Dem ticket is HClinton/BClinton/Barry Obsama? What if it’s all a tactic to solidify the minority blocs and win the Presidency for HClinton for 8 yrs. and Barry for 8 yrs? What happens to America if these people get to make decisions for the next 16 yrs?

All the powers of the Patriot Act will be used on average Americans. The so-called Fairness Doctrine will be used to stifle free speech. The Supreme Court will become a monster. Sky-high taxes, massive welfare state, forced socialistic medical care, the breakdown of any sort of constraint on the part of a Clinton/Clinton White House, the possibilities are mind-boggling.

Go ahead and stay home, you sunshine patriots!

Did I miss something? Did Rush say he wasn’t going to vote?

That certainly doesn’t sound like him...

The phoney threat by Baldwin and other liberals was at least made plausible by the fact that there are plenty of places in the world that are more socialist and more Godless than the US: Europe, Canada, Cuba.

But where exactly would a free-market supporting conservative prefer to live other than the United States?

No,that’s not what Rush said. I don’t think he knows what he’s going to do at this point.

I treasure the ideals this country was founded on. If they no longer exist here then I will look elsewhere.
( And take my money with me ) Sorry Hillary and Obama. You will have to take from someone else.

This will likely be the result of a McCain presidency, if his actions of the past ten years are any indication.

Seems to me the patriotic thing to do is to deny power to anyone with such inclinations, regardless of party affiliation.

Obviously a liberal baiting type question. Michael P. Tremoglie can receive my answer if he can see my hand from Philly.

I wish I’d said that!!! :)

I have no intention of obeying the next 20 years of Supreme Court decisions.

Our government has broken its Constitution covenant with the people of the United States.

I imagine you will find that Washington folded his tent from time to time, so he could move on to the next battleground.

My email to him

You and your thinking is exactly why we have a McCain as a candidate. You compromise your beliefs and then belittle those that wont sell out as you have. You are forgetting that we conservatives voted for Geo. Bush 1 against our judgement so that there would be a winner. We got souter out of it. Then we fought and won both house and senate and president and what did we get? Republicans without the balls to stop the blockage of judges. An administration that spent like a crack whore and ignored the base that elected them. Did we get tax reform? Abortion stopped? Conservative judges? Why should we give our hard earned money and more important our aligence to a candidate that we know will not represent our values but actually use the support we gave him to destroy our values. No sir we do not pay for the bullets of our own execution. You compromised long ago don’t expect us to join you to make your self feel better.

Nothing is certain. However, my money is on McCain making more conservative and patriotic SCOTUS appointments than the Nominatrix or Baraq Hussein would. How about you?
