We need to face the fact that Romney is not showing himself to be competitive with McCain. For all of his bucks, he is not getting a big bang.

It seems the more the neo-con bloggers and talk radio gurus condemn McCain and Huckabee and try to build-up Romney, Romney does more poorly.

Huckabee can be dismissed by some as a regional candidate or one who appeals to a single block of voters (social conservatives), but this would only make him more attractive as a VP for a perceived moderate like McCain.

The bottom line is that McCain is in the driver’s seat and one must be imaginative to see reasons for his bus to get derailed to the nomination.

McCain and his followers are driving the bus right off the cliff. McCain's nomination and visions of being president will inevitably crash and burn in the general election. Enjoy the ride.
