Unfortunately. Their last Presidential candidate, Michael Peroutka, endorses Ron Paul this time around, and, in a lot of ways, Ron Paul's platform is even closer to the Constitution Party platform than it is to the Libertarian platform, which is the party he's really a part of.

Ron Paul still has $7 million cash on hand at last report. I would be shocked if he doesn't run in November, and I think he'll be endorsed/nominated by both the Libertarian and Constitution Parties.

I think he has already made plans to do just that. Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised if his plan all along was to use his Republican run to increase his media profile and facilitate fundraising so he could make a third party run when he was inevitably rejected by Republican voters.

If either is the case, his continued participation in the Republican primaries is a fraud.
