Glad you enjoyed the thread again - we got us some mighty cute animals at the Finest! :)
Hey, Pipper!!! Where’ve you been? We’ve been missing you around here. Great to have you back at the Finest again!
Yes, they can, and I'm pretty sure I posted every letter from A thru Z in the opening post, so you can save and download all of them if you want to.
How are you doing?
Hi, Billie!
I think we all do. This is not the election most of want. :( But I am still holding my breath that Bloomberg stays out of it.
That is a gorgeous image, and such sweet birds. You did the frame in PhotoFilter? It looks nice.
You don't really need to learn the terminology, just play around with the different features and you will find what you like. Eventually you will know the program inside out. :-)
Take care and visit us when you can. :-)
(I love this animation, but the file is a bit large. Let me know, Billie, if it is causing problems and I will delete it. That is the thing with so many good animations, they tend to be large files.)
Yes..That’s PhotoFiltre. Don’t worry..I will finally “get it”..and I hate for you to load up a program you don’t need!
PhotoShop probably opens animated gif files in individual frames, too. I've used the individual frames of an animation a lot - the monkey was one of the better ones because the frames are all so different!
Thought of your upcoming Montana profile last night. We watched a movie called "Montana Sky" - cowboys of course. :) Big ranch, lots of horses, etc. :) (See, I told you I hear "Montana" and immediately think of cowboy country!)
ippin
It’s pretty large, Lori. :( It opened, but took a while, of course. The reason it’s so large is because it is 49 individual frames, and the whole gif animation has even been compressed, so imagine what it would be in bytes if it hadn’t.
Me too! I have a LOT of cowboy "stuff" on my Montana post, in fact, at one point I said to myself "enough with the cowboys, already". But the images are so much fun to work with and there is so much available on the internet. I love horses, cowboys, and anything having to do with the "west". (Wolfie provided me with the cowboy images that I am using in my ping graphic. I don't know where he found one of them because I scoured the internet and never came across it anywhere.)
Anyway, I did try to include other interesting information about the state when I realized I was going way overboard with the cowboy thing. LOL :-)
I can remove it from the server. I just think it is so doggone cute. I could try compressing it more, when I get a few minutes. I have finally learned how to do a few things with animations in Photoshop’s “Image Ready”.
It is cute - I’ve seen it before. I’m not sure it can be compressed anymore than it already is. The way my Gif Construction program compresses animations is to remove any redundancy of colors, etc. and every frame except the first one has had that done. Of course the more frames one has, the smoother an animation is to begin with!
Yes, there is a part of Photoshop called Image Ready that opens gifs in their individual frames.
I have tried working with some animations. Wow, what a challenge! Layers are difficult enough to keep track of, but when you are working with multiple layers on multiple frames it can be really tricky keeping track of where you are. I just haven't had the patience to spend much time experimenting with animations.
Right. Some could be removed, but it would probably make the animation jerky. The reason it is so good is because it has so many frames.
I'll remove it now. No problem. :-)
