Big newsflash. We have three lying, posing RINOs out in front of our party running for first loser of the November election. One of them claims to be a Christian and is a former pastor. He may be the most disingenuous of all of them. He'd be the most bitter and spiteful in a normal election, but McCain's in this one, so no dice.

Cheer up the808bass, Jesus is in control no matter how happy McCain gets tonight. Huckabee is flawed. But he has been savaged, slandered, sabotaged, slighted, spurned, shunned and suppressed. Contrary to what you say, he has stayed positive, grateful and cheerful. Without any money, but with sheer hard work, he's had some fantastic success tonight. And with hope and trust in God, I believe that he will carry my highest conservative priorities forward into the convention and the future.

I’m not into tearing other conservatives apart over which body we shove in front of the firing squad in November. Democrats are turning out twice as many voters. They are motivated, we are not. There are no electable Republicans. Good night.

Romney/Huck presidency or vice versa.

Better than McCain.

Attacking the money side of the equation would be an excellent move. A wall wouldn’t hurt either. In my experience, debate between those options hasn’t been the source of the great immigration rift. The rift has grown between those that want to do something to stop immigration first vs those who want to have some simultaneous amnesty thrown in.

CA could vote early and voted Guiliani thinking he was still in the race

Has McCain picked Guiliani as his running mate yet?

I think he's picking Gary Hart.

Good point, now we can just it back and watch the carnage. I don’t need to get hopeful or depressed anymore, because I don’t have a stake in this anymore. Since conservatives are shut out, it will at least be fun to watch them all go after each other without needing to get worked up about it, and there will probably be small, ironic moments of amusement, such as the look on McCain’s face when the MSM turns on him and pops his smug, self-complacent balloon.

McCAin hasn’t got 1,191 delegates yet. The truth is, no one has to drop out.

Absolutely right. It's not over.

If those are the final numbers re: delegates, Mitt SHOULD stay in. It’s all Huck wants now, for Mitt to drop out so that he can pick up all Mitt’s votes. No, I want Mitt to stay in this and BANKRUPT Huck, make him go all the way.

If for no other reason I want Mitt in just to antagonize Huck, as Huck has been doing for Mitt these past few days.

Must be a different Huckabee running. Are there two? I have only seen a bitter, small and vengeful fork-tongued new convert to lower taxes and immigration enforcement. Oh, and he lies a lot. But he loves Jesus!

Will you be happy when he gives his delegates to McCain?

You two could do the forum a favor by not wasting our bandwidth on your sanctimonious bickering.

Thank you.

I don’t see Romney dropping out. But Mordecai Huckster is surely a stalking horse for the McCaniac.

“Looks like another bad stock market day for us tomorrow. Gee, which of the tax-and-spend liberals will lead us out of a recession? /s The one man with any economic sense is pretty much out of th erace.”

Well, the good news is that we’ll have lots of stimulus spending via the super Keynsian Dem House and Supermajority Senate...Obama will get everything he wants. So we’ll stimulate our way out of a the recession or slowdown - just in time for 2012 - that’s when the real landslide hits. Damn these Dems are lucky. Possible Bear Market???

No he hasn't - with his pal McCain maybe. He has done his share of religion-baiting with Romney and other general whining and muckraking. Not impressive for a pastor at all. Plus he flat-out lied today about McCain dealing to give him WV delegates.

"Looks like another bad stock market day for us tomorrow."

I suspect that this is going to go much further. The Butt-heads in Washington, both Parties, are 'debating' the ridiculous Stimulus Package (AKA as loading it down with earmarks) while the problems are growing to out-of-control proportions.

The picture, both economic and political, is as muddied as I've ever seen it and this cannot bode well for the Stock Market IMO.

That’s precisely what I’ve tried to do is take it off line but Petronski is the one who’s balking.

Free Republic needs a moderated arbitration thread.
