Knocking down the true conservative who was in the race. Thanks for showing your true colors, RINO. You should be happy with who’s remaining on the ticket.

Look! A piece of dog poo with an “R” in front of it. Let’s vote for it.

I’m from the South. Believe me, intelligent Southerners don’t suffer from “Huckabilly appeal”. I was so hoping that the Huckabillies would all be out in the pasture chasing their mistresses today, but alas, it was not to be.

Talk to "MOOOOOOve on" about that.

Cheers!

Now I realize it's going to be sorta nice because I'm just going to be a spectator for all that is to come. No money to send, no helping at the polls, no yard signs, getting excited at speeches. Anyway just sit in the armchair and watch what happens.

And looking forward to seeing all the dirt the Dems can dish out against McCain. I can't say that he won't deserve it. Or that I won't enjoy watching.

Whatever happened to Bloomberg anyway? I never heard any more about him running. Wouldn’t that add some more wood to the fire?

I’m thinking the same thing. I am now disengaged from this process.

You claim to be a follower of Christ, so there are 2 christians in a dispute and you’ve been challenged to take the dispute to a christian 3rd party.

Yeah. Matthew definitely intended to address disagreements on internet forums in his rules on church discipline. Seriously.

Bush is more conservative than McCain or Huckster.
Agreed. We are going downhill, to be sure.

Bush is president, something that McCain and the Preacher will never be.

Bush has never said the nasty things as those two have. That because he presidential.

"Yeah, tell that to 500 million Buddhists."

they'll find out for themselves - eventually.

You will probably find out the same thing. Unfortunately for me, I won't be around to catch the look on your face!

That’s what makes it so frustrating!

I just heard (PBS???) that Hillery campaigned early and the absentee ballots may go for her.

I’d LOVE to see the margins tighten so much and go the opposite way for McCain and Clinton.

That would be fantastic!

These are the same listeners that fought McCain’s amnesty tooth and nail. Very perplexing.

“a political realignment like we haven’t seen since 80 with Reagan. But this time it is favoring the Dems again. The Party blew it - it’s over for 8 years.”

Get ready for another CARTER RECESSION...

At 18, I didn’t fair very well that time, and I remember the lines of 150 people lined up in the snow at 6am for the TWO part-time openings at McDonald’s, but I am FAR better insulated this time.

It’s the younger ones, who have never really had to LOOK for a job that I fear for.

Right now, I would really like a 3rd party candidate that is not as bad as McCain or Hillary.

Bill Krystal just advocated that Romney withdraw and endorse McCain.

I think illegal immigration ends up being THE single issue that makes self-described conservatives look most like a group of loons: the over-the-top rhetoric of the "build the wall NOW" crowd has led to those folks crapping their own beds.

Interesting imagery. The idea of border security only seems over-the-top to those folks that have grown comfortable with our national decline into a balkanized multi-culti cesspool of "many nations in one". But if you're right, and it's an aversion to border security that has sent Republicans to McCain in droves, then I guess we never really had a chance did we?

Who are all these people voting McCain??? most conservative blogs were anti-mccain by a wide margin. Just mystified as to who is VOTING for the guy. HOW IS HE WINNING??”

I know! In all the conservative polls, he barely registered. I don't know of a single soul who likes him or is voting for him. I was wondering the same thing. Where in the heck are his votes coming from?! I think dems are messing with our primaries.
