Bush ran as a “compassionate conservative”. What did you expect?

Barbour subtly warned Romney and Huckster not to insist to take the fight to the convention if it appears McCain is the frontrunner.

The politicians are beginning to really sweat what will happen if the conservatives wash their hands of this choice for the party. They look ahead and begin to think about the possibility of losing their seats and they may have to get a real job. This fiasco may have some far reaching and long lasting repercussions and they know it.

And that is why so many are finger pointing and screaming wildly. Politics is not purty.

Msnbc showed how Mitt could actually end up with more delegates than McCain tonight....long odds of course. That would be something though.

I brought it up on another thread, too. It's pretty clear he can't take the south, but he could siphon votes off from McCain. But it would likely throw the election to Hillary (not sure who won the Dem yet).

There are some Democrat males that do not like Hillary that might vote for either McCain or Romney but doubt Huckabee.

It depends on him, of course, but I would go that route unless Huckabee wins and picks somebody other than McCain.

i agree with you, however, as tolerant as i am, i DO NOT want a muslim in the white house. (ie obama)

I hate to defend a hard-left socialist like Obama, but a Muslim??? His dad was a Muslim (now an atheist) and his mom was Catholic, I think. He briefly went to a Muslim school, but I went to a Catholic school and married a Catholic, and I'm not Catholic.

what the MSM won’t say is that McCain was a big loser.

They already know McCain's a big loser. They're trying to keep it under wraps until after he wins the nomination.

So Romney is on the right side of conservatism now that he is pro life.

Good for Romney.

I might have voted for Romney if he was still pro choice.

I’m a pro choice Republican.

Thankfully, I’m not a one issue voter.

Isn’t McCain going to thank Mike Huckabee for his victories tonight? I mean, while he’s mentioning everyone else...

Japanese TV (TV Tokyo I believe) last night our time showed illegal aliens/non citizens in California getting ready to go out their doors and vote in the Democratic Primary. I saw it with my own eyes. They had a TV crew there. It looked like somewhere in San Diego county.

Lightbeam, now I get it. You’re in that cult that “beam me up scotty” takes you guys to an asteroid that you’ll meet up with. My God, the libs aren’t wrong about anything, some of you are total moonbats.

Absentee balloting used to be for shut-ins and travelers and the military; about ten years ago, it started getting snob appeal, so I would expect absentee ballots to break for the more liberal candidates.

On the contrary, the majority of absentees in CA are more conservative. Those working, I imagine.

Not disgusting at all. There are plenty (including me) who wouldn't vote for a non-Christian. If that makes one a religious bigot, so be it. I make no apologies. Anyone who doesn't like it - too bad.

I see nothing to suggest the Founding Fathers wanted voters to impose any religious test on candidates, but beyond that I have a question: would you rather the Democrat run unopposed, than have Mitt Romney run against them?

Of course she’s getting all the absentee ballots, they are a freaking joke. You can register your dog and kids, they will send you an absentee ballot...

Obama let her steal NH, if she steals CA, will he let her get way with it ? How the hell can can he be leading by as much as 13 % in the polls and lose this state - unless the bitch cheats again !
