LIVE THREAD II
Believe me, I’ve done my research.
Okay so Romney explained why he changed his mind about why he is now pro life after being pro choice just as little as three years ago.
Lots of candidates change their positions and that is fine and I’m okay with it.
What I am not okay with is people posting that we are all blind sheep because we don’t support a certain candidate based upon a single issue who they claim has always been their position when it clearly has not.
Someone said there were 3 million mail-in ballots also, always a bad sign when there are that many mail-in ballots, only created for one thing, with cheating. Look how the mail-in ballots stole the elction from Slade Gordon in WA in 2000. ABC news called it for Gordon late in the morning and said mostly just mail-in ballots left to count.. Cantrell captured like 80% of them all and stole the elction from Gordon.
McCain looks to carry-(7) AZ, CT, DE, IL, NY, NJ, OK
Romney looks to carry-(6)CO, MA, MN, MT, ND, UT
Huck looks to carry-(5) AL, AR, GA, TN, WV
MO will go to Huck or McCain while Romney has a good chance to win in AK.
CA will be the big prize. Be hilarious to see Romney tie mcCain in number of states carried.
Hillary and Bill are Methodist and they are 2 of the most evil people around. So what difference could Romney’s religion possibly make? Who cares? I just don’t want a Muslim for president.
Not even close to Reagan-era levels.
The only votes yet to be tallied are St. Louis, St. Charles and the county in which Kansas City resides (Clay ?). Those counties are breaking strong for either Romney or McCain, not Huckabee.
Dems early results
I'm surprised it amazes you. This forum, as great as it once was, has steadily turned towards religion as a litmus. Somehow, many posters here think the U.S.A. is something prescribed by God himself; that in itself scares me. It borders damn near the religious zealots we are fighting overseas!
I'm sure you can agree, religion has taken too much of a hold in the GOP.
Am I the lone one who wants to ditch the idea of how holy a candidate is?
Let's get back to the Constitution, not the church governing this land...
Where is the total so far for Romney. Was 28 last I heard. Thanks!
On Fox they are saying that it’s too close to call but they have just started posting numbers
Mc Cain 45
Romney 24
Oh really. If true it is just barely so IMO. 'Comprehensive Immigration Reform', no veto of ANY spending bills in six-plus years, deficits due to big Gov't programs supported by Bush. Quite a Conservative record. The only thing I will give him is two Supremes.
no shiite it the dems have two person race ... but both Clinton and Obama have more than twice the number of people voting for them than Romney was able to get out his vote ... yeah, a three person race on the republican side but in a red state. Can you do that math?
BurbankKarl projects Obama wins Marin County
Why didn't you quote the entire verse - because it wouldn't flatter Myth very much?
I have good friends of ours. He’s an elder in our church. We usually support the same candidate, and both of them voted for McCain. They wouldn’t vote for a Mormon.
It is interesting, to be sure.
Bush got a bum deal. 911 and the subsequent war are not “Bush’s fault”. But perhaps the mess will be left in Hillary’s lap and even more, lol.
Agreed. We’re fractured and demoralized at the moment. It’s pretty hard to envision us all rallying around whoever our nominee turns out to be..
But- a lot can change in the next eight months.
