Well, all I saw was that she named three great justices, and I wanted to mention the fourth.

Thanks for the explanation about the original purpose of the thread.

Agreed. I had some concerns about Mormonism but got over it. I despise Harry Reid for being Harry Reid nothing more.

And Romney is clearly the best man standing. Even a friend of mine admitted he would not support Romney due to religion. Then again his agenda is pro-drugs in West Hollyweird.

So there you have it, bigots all.

I will not cast my vote for a man who holds the beliefs that the Mormon faith teaches.

So you have a Mormon, a phony Christian and 3 godless creatures of the night, which one are you going to choose?

Any chance Romney would run third party? He’s got some pretty good numbers.

“We want Evangelicals, and people of all religions on board in our Republican Party.
Including Islam? Including Atheism? Including witchcraft?”

No, I’m not including atheism because that is a lack of religion and withcraft is worshipping the devil. But we have to stop being biased against various God-fearing people who we know to be good- that is who do good to others, acknowledge God as their creator and follow God’s commandments. Are we willing to overlook the legitimacy of a presidential candidate because he is a Mormon? That is not fair and it’s very narrow-minded. So you’d rather throw overboard a Mormon, and risk having someone like Obama or Clinton in office, who would very likely make one of their objectives targeting Christian conservatives and taking away their rights, such as the right to free religious speech, with the help of the ACLU? You have to see that the enemy here are those in the radical movement to take God out of society. Mitt Romney is a honorable, capable leader and he has proven that he is a godly man by the way he has treated his fellow candidates with respect. Can that be said of McCain and Huckabee, who have issued forth deceitful and uncalled for barbs at Mitt?

McCain looks to carry-(8) AZ, CT, DE, IL, MO, NY, NJ, OK
Romney looks to carry-(6)CO, MA, MN, MT, ND, UT
Huck looks to carry-(5) AL, AR, GA, TN, WV

Huck will not win anything else. Romney has a good chance to win in AK.

CA will be the big prize. Be hilarious to see Romney tie mcCain in number of states carried.

"Many of you sound as bad as the liberals, as if I am required by law to be tolerant and accepting of his Mormon faith, so as to overlook it when I am considering him as a candidate."

If his Mormon faith were causing him to adopt destructive policies, then you would have a point, but I've seen no evidence that any of his positions have some distinctive "Mormon" quality about them.

Does it ever occur to you that you live (and have to co-exist) with the ‘non saved, non washed masses’. I guess we do not have a say in things. How very Christian of you.

“The Liberal candidate always comes from behind in Missouri. KC and St. Louis hold their results to the end.

McCain will win Missouri, as I predicted three hours ago.”

I lived in MO for 12 years and participated in republican politics. It is the Dem vote that you are talking about and it is usually late in St Louis and K.C. Dems can’t vote in the Rep primary. Hucks lead may very well hold up.

What good will Roberts and Alito do if the GOP is paralyzed as the minority party for the next 20 years? Thats my point. Its a Pyrrhic victory if Bush and the congress inadvertently destroyed the republican brand with ineffective social programs, humongous deficits, a gigantic trade imbalance, and an incalculable price of this war(can’t leave but can we afford to spend billions of dollars there for the next ten years?)

I am a “conservative Presbyterian.” Unlike you, it seems, I have a Minister, and am not looking for a Presidential Minister. I am looking for someone who follows the CONSTITUTION which was constructed by Bible believing folks.

Wow, perfectly said! :)

It seems many of our members are helping the Republican Party form the circular firing squad once again.
