LIVE THREAD II
That's disgusting, really disgusting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Including Islam? Including Atheism? Including witchcraft?
This is the problem with today's GOP. This is why conservatives are loosing tonight: because the GOP isn't giving Christians anyone to vote for. We will NOT vote for a Mormon cultist. We will NOT vote for someone who isn't fully committed to marriage and the family. Period. Huckabee pretends to be a Christian and pro-family, so he (sadly) gets our votes.
Don't want any more RINOs running for office? Start nominating real, conservative CHRISTIANS who we will vote for -- otherwise, you can kiss our 30 million votes goodbye. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WOW!!! LightBeam!!!! You HIT THE NAIL RIGHT SMACK DAB ON THE HEAD!!!..... All I can say is DITTO DITTO DITTO!!!
Sort of bigoted and narrow, isn't it? Would you disqualify Catholics, Jews, agnostics, ...? IMHO, their faith is their business, not mine. We've got George W. Bush, a fine evangelical, who is a disaster when it comes to out-of-control spending. I know some Mormons, and they're as normal and decent as anyone.
You basically touch on the essential point - there were a couple of conservative Christians in the race early on, and they simply didn’t get the votes. It wasn’t a plot of the RNC or the MSM; the votes just weren’t there.
I agree with you about the Mormon thing. I live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he was born, went to High School and where his father was an excellent, excellent Governor. This man is a hard worker and is smart as hell.
Look at the Wikipedia Bio on him - Without the MSM filter and the opposition of the Party Pros this guy is a dream candidate. Compare his resume’ with those of McCain and Huck. Just as pale as the comparison of their speeches tonight. /vent
I voted for Huckabee today as the best of what’s left. I’d have far rather voted for Thompson or Hunter, but that was not to be.
God help us. How can a liberal democrat run against another liberal democrat????
It ain’t over if the firewall in California holds. My friends family in Cali were all voting for Romney.
The tide can be turned. It’s not a luck for McCain by any means if he gets beat decisively in California. It’s not a numerical issue, just the sheer size of the state and the template for victory.
Romney picks up another!
You need to return to Europe.....
Missouri Precincts Reporting 2561 of 3371
Romney, Mitt REP 128,962 27.9%
McCain, John REP 147,958 32.0%
Huckabee, Mike REP 156,643 33.9%
I don’t believe Huckabee is a lot behind Romney in the delegate count is he?
Superdelegates. The Democrats basically front-load their anointed candidate with tons of endorsements by Congressmen, party bosses, etc. that can be used as delegate votes at the convention. Smoke filled rooms and all that fun stuff.
ROMNEY: CO, MA, MN, MT, ND, UT
Oh Man, I miss Garage Logic!
Vegas really needs better talk radio!
I would love to see all the McCain suck ups go over the edge. Bye bye.
hillary and obama are pro-choice NOW. McCain is a lunatic NOW. But we’ll go back three or six years if it makes you happy.
Me too. A lot of good old-fashioned bigotry is on display here.
