LOL, obviously with two terms of Clintons, and Bushs’ that have not reduced the size of gov, all Rush believes he can do is try and educate. And I am sure he is saddened by the vaunted American voter, and their ignorance. He has given them much to much credit over the years, lol. But thank God he is there, and on our side to battle against the MSM. And, too many of our pols have counted on him over the years, instead of educating their constituents themselves.

Even at this hour, the projected winners thus far are both people Rush does not and has preached against. Huckabee is winning in Rush country.

If Huckabee is winning what seems to be the south, it can't be the fault of the MSM. I would guess it is concern about Mitt's faith.

You know, flag lady, I did not vote for McCain and do not think he will be a particularly strong candidate this fall. However, it is what it is and I will vote for the Republican nominee in November. My complaint is the unprecedented abuse being thrown at McCain, who will most likely be the nominee. If, by some act of God, Romney was to come back and win the nomination, will the division in the party be repaired before November? I doubt it.

"Rush is such a baby. Because he is not having the influence on the elction he would like, he is going to throw a fit. Rush and Ann Coulter should marry. They could lay in bed at night and feel good about themselves while they discuss the millions of idiots in the country."

If they do in order, they'll get to you pretty early on. :-D

Take it easy, lad. Everybody's entitled to an opinion... and if I think that McCain is a Denebian slime devil, well that's my opinion too.

You sound like a dimocRAT.

What the poster said is true. Rush has had a negligible effect on the primary elections, and he's frustrated by it. I don't know if Rush's listeners are getting old or if they're simply getting outnumbered by voters who want a clean break from the Bush administration and are figuring that McCain is their guy all along. In fact, all of the conservative blogs and writers are pretty much eating crow right now.

It looks like McCain is the nominee, he's going to lose badly to Hillary or Obama and that'll pretty much be the end of the Republican Party.

Who cares what lying Limbaugh has to say. He had a chance to endorse a conservative candidate early in the race and failed to do so, claiming that he didn't endorse candidates

Yep, exactly.

Whoah, hang on. I'm upset too, but let's not jump off the bridge.

What I see is McCain winning states with roughly a third of the vote, sometimes a little more. Hardly a Republican mandate or huge liberal shift. This isn't a failure of conservatism, this is a failure in tactics -- a split Republican vote like we haven't seen in a long time.

I was speaking to a co-worker today and we both support and voted for Romney.

We will both vote for McCrazy if he is the nominee as the deal with joining the U.S. and Mexico is already a done deal and only a revolution (which won’t happen) will stop that from happening.

As I have said since I joined in 2000, the MSM consists of all NY and DC media, advertising, TV entertainment and news, education K-college, Hollywood, mags, and on and on.

Talk radio cannot compete. Most people, even Republicans can't/don't listen to radio all day.

And obviously, the Republican/conservative base continues to vote for men who want to grow government, and the litmus tests for candidates grow longer each election.

Unfortunately the litmus test of smaller government has dropped completely off the list.

Rush can only continue to speak for the minority of us who still believe in stopping the growth of gov.

Pretty good summary. SCOTUS judges needs to addressed though.

Looks like we’ll have 9 months to discuss this.
