Ya know what stinks, my son hit a skunk with his Dad’s car last night! Pop is not happy! The interior stinks, the driveway stinks..OY!

Ick. They used to come in my yard, spray everywhere, bother the cat and dog, and eat the garden. I finally had to shoot one.

Here’s a recipe that’s supposed to work.

1 gallon water
1 qt. 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1 cup baking soda
1 squirt of dish soap.

This is the recipe for removing the skunk smell from a pet, but it might work on the car, too.

The peroxide might bleach fabric, though. They also suggest lemon juice or vinegar.
