Good point!
How about a tiny merkin?
Nope, we weren't.
I'd say, however, that although my wife would qualify as a "sexually active" woman, since she's been monogamous since '73 she's had absolutely 0% chance of acquiring HPV along the way ... unlike the 23% who carry HPV who've had multiple partners or slept with men who did.
Again, I'm not concerned.
Only 4 ..... and I think I heard there are hundreds of strains. Not only that, but I heard a well-known female gyn say that what is not told is that the cervical cancers being caused by HPV are in women with compromised immune systems ... HIV, transplant recipients, etc. She recommended against jumping on the ‘bandwagon’ to vaccinate young girls at this time - acknowledging as she did so that she’s going ‘against’ her own profession. Merck has a real moneymaker and they’re pushing this stuff - laws are being passed requiring the vaccine for young girls and their ads (”One Less”) are targeting young girls. Longterm going down the road, why do I have the sinking feeling this is going to end up like the Hormone Replacement Therapy debacle that was foisted on women for years?
So people are smoking less, therefore HPV is causing more throat cancer.
Sounds to me as if some cancers were being blamed on smoking because it was politically convenient. Who would have thought?
Fur shure................
Doesn’t HPV take decades to show up?.........
Plenty of straight people get HPV. You can use your imagination to figure out how a straight man in a relationship with a straight woman could get HPV or be at a higher risk for penile or oral cancers.
and the Republican Gov of TX wanted to force this ‘vaccine’ on every girl CHILD in the state
The problem with Hormone Replacement Therapy was mainly one of giving women inconsistent doses of horse hormones. If they’d used human hormones and a different method of administrating them it would probably still be popular.
Gay men or straight men? I say Gay.
Doesnt say oral cancer in women......
Since it specifically does NOT say so, I suspect this is a GAY disease. It certainly is not made clear in the article.
There is a potential commonality of the blunt force trauma performed against the cervix and the back of a gay man’s throat (you figure the rest out for yourself).
Perhaps someone in the medical community can clarify just who is getting infected.
“Its natures way of telling you somethings wrong”
Its natures way of telling you somethings wrong
Good song.
There was no forcing in the deal. Parents could opt their kids out of the shot, if so desired.
This sucks.
This really sucks.
I guess I used up ALL the fun.
I’d rather die first.
Seriously. If you have to give up everything that’s good and fun, what’s the point of living.
