I love Fred and if he was still running I would vote for him, but at this point, it is a waste of a vote. I’ll vote for Mitt and pray for the best.

“If the FRED ARMY can come through on Super Tuesday and deliver a victory in Tennessee, he will re-enter the race and give us the conservative alternative we need!”
Anybody ask Fred?
That said, I will pull the lever for him today. NYS is going to McCain. Romney doesn’t have a chance here.

I plan to go and write Fred in, if he isn’t on the GA ballot.
I’ve wanted a chance to vote for him for well over a decade. I am NOT wasting it. :)

I think Elvis is more likely to re-enter the race.

come on guys. Conservatives didn’t want to support him when they had their best chance to nominate a true conservative.

McCain? Honorable servant? I don’t consider John McCain’s politics to be honorable by any stretch of the imagination, unless a political Benedict Arnold would also a patriot.

The possibility still exists that there will be a brokered convention. If none of the current candidates go into the convention with enough delegates, anything can happen.
That was the circumstance with Chestur Arthur and his run against Winfield Hancock.

Nobody asked George Washington; they just showed up at his door with torches and a carriage.

Fred Thompson was my candidate.
But he chose to be the last to come to work and the first to leave. And that is no recipe for success in any endeavor in life.
Just can’t vote for McCain, Romney, or Huckabee in the primary. I will vote for the Republican candidate in the general election.
Today I voted for Jerry Curry - retired Army general, Vietnam combat vet, strong conservative, and born-again Christian. Just wish he had more traction out there.

It didnt quite work for Tsongas Didn't work too well for Perot either; I don't think it would work for Fred.
