With any luck McCain will be the nominee. The result will be the call for a Conservative convention and the start of a legitimate third party movement that has a true ideoloogical base.

The only way that is going to be successful is if simultaneously a large liberal party were to split away from the Democrat Party. Personally, I would rather see four major parties: conservative, moderately conservative, moderately liberal, and liberal. In my mind, four such parties would better represent the views of the country than the two existing ones.
