The only way that is going to be successful is if simultaneously a large liberal party were to split away from the Democrat Party. Personally, I would rather see four major parties: conservative, moderately conservative, moderately liberal, and liberal. In my mind, four such parties would better represent the views of the country than the two existing ones.

Not a Third Party, a Shadow Party within the Republican Party that holds its own convention, puts up its own candidates.
