Wow, Mary couldn’t not have been more spot on with that. And, those who thought Fred would endorse McCain may have just had their butts handed to them.

Girl, it is good to see you on here. I agree about our primary votes being for naught. It’s driving me crazy.

ANY Republican is better than a Democrat. I don’t want a Dem picking the next SCOTUS

Oh, no. It means that I might have rethought my strategy.

My vote for Romney was a vote against McCain, since my first choice, Fred Thompson, dropped out of the race.

Since I’m voting against McCain, rather than for Romney, I might have been open to the Huckabee split strategy.

That’s all.

You’re only throwing your vote away if you otherwise would have voted Romney. If you weren’t prepared to take that plunge, then you did the only thing you could do.

McAmnesty is TOO evil!

Just voted for Mitt in Missouri. It was difficult to pass over Fred’s name on the ballot.

I live in a rural area. Nothing but Ron Paul signs outside the polling place. Didn’t need my I.D. to vote, since the lady registering is my neighbor.

There was a nasty little old guy handing out ballots. When I asked for a Republican ballot, he sneered. Wouldn’t make conversation.

If figures he has time to work the polls. No job, bitter, livelong Democrat. He’ll die unhappy.

Oh, well. My district votes 65% Republican.

next SCOTUS

If you look at the choices Romney made for judges, he's disqualified also. (Did you know that the committee that presented names to him served at his pleasure? They were hand picked by Romney. That they sent him activist judges and Romney picked some of the most activisit of the lot says a lot about him.)

Brit was soooooo negative about Mitt last night on the Panel. “...oh yeah, there are reports of a surge in California, but that doesn’t mean anything, blah, blah...” I was screaming at them all!

I wish Mary would convince Fred to endorse Romney.

He owed it to his supporters, since most of them have been forced to support Mitt.

Friendship with McCain in not worth the soul of the party, or the country.

But I would rather have a Democrat in the President's chair who would cause the GOP to have a spine, then the Manchurian candidate who is going to reach across the aisle and destroy my party AND my country.

That's exactly my thinking. We already know that with a liberal president, the Senate Republicans will cave (amnesty, massive spending under W.) With McCain, it would be even worse.

McCain's idea of reaching across the aisle is for him to get up, go across the aisle, select a chair, and stay there. Reagan's way, however, was to pull Democrats into his way of thinking. Not to let them change his!
