Can anyone confirm what I think I heard tonight on WMAL during the Levin show?

I understand from WMAL that the Virginia state authorities had to turn on their election phone bank tonight to take all the calls complaining about many polling places being locked or unmanned.

Virginia’s primary is February 12.

I love this story, I hope I heard it right.

If Mitt is still in it as of tomorrow, I’ll be adding to my contribution for his campaign then. I’m really disappointed about the display of religious bigotry by McCain and Huckabee, and their voters. I would not have believed Americans capable of this, so I guess it is up to the likes of you and me to do our best to offset them.

Fox and Barnes have recently been most disappointing. Actually, they downright disgust me.

Amen to that! Yesterday McCain and the few days before McCain was a slam dunk. Tonight they were hedging their bets, as Kristol continues to be a McCainiac since he has been since 2000.

And every time I turn on Fox I see Hillary, and then Obama. Never Romney unless it makes him look bad.

Fox is just one of the Drive-bys.

Huckabee showing his true colors today, tag-teaming with McCain to win West Virginia. (McCain gave Huck his votes because Romney was beating them both.) Huck gets the win. Disgusting!!!

Then He and McCain have the gall to deny what they did.

I am a Missouri Synod Lutheran PASTOR, and I voted for Romney!

On the one hand (religion), I completely reject Mormonism as the heretical, made-up, false religion it is--it denies the essential doctrines of Christianity, e.g., the person of Christ, the Trinity. On the other hand (politics), that view of their religion does not stop me from voting for a Mormon for President.

The Constitution prohibits a religious test for office. Further, I have not seen one bit of evidence that Governor Mitt Romney--or for that matter, his father, Governor George Romney--ever tried to use his office to establish Mormonism as the state religion.

It probably means Mitt will struggle in Missouri tonight, maybe.

The Missouri Synod is by no means confined to the state of Missouri. Missouri is not even the state where we have the most members (that would be Illinois). But the LCMS is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
