It sounds like the reality of the polls is beginning to set in.

Sell out. What is the point of having principles if you don't live by them.

All these 'I hate McCain' pundits who turn around and admit they'll hold their nose and vote for him are hypocrites, and do NOTHING, absolutely nothing good for conservatives.

Laura has lost a ton of my respect.

For the odd and problematical.....

Savage last night mentioned after November he may (or will) start a new party.

Do not laugh, we need to see what becomes of it.

A home for us disaffected with the Mel Martenizism, Medveditting, Kristolizing, and Barnsing of the GOP?

Perhaps...

Actually, she only said that she would go to the polls in the general. She did not say she would vote for McLame.

She was commenting on the idea of staying home.

The party that has to 'hold their nose' and vote ALWAYS loses. We are running lukewarm candidates. The left and their friends in mainstream media are highly motivated to CHANGE the Whitehouse back to democrat control. That is the change they keep referring to.

I can get behind Mitt Romney. He wasn't my first choice. But he'll do just fine. However, I won't hold my nose and vote for anyone. It's pointless. McCain is a 'hold your nose' candidate.

The GOP has tossed out Conservatives all in an attempt to be all inclusive to even Lib Rats. I think we all saw this coming a couple years ago.

It seems pointless, and maybe not helpful for Laura to make this statement just before the key vote. She could have kept this opinion to herself until we have nominee.

Not the right time to say you’re not opposed to McCain.

Sounds to me like Laura doesn't want to jeopardize her gigs as substitute for populist O'Reilly by cozying closer to populist McCain.

These primaries are certainly exposing a lot of idols with feet of clay.

And she is right.

He is better than Obama, and tantrums have no place in serious national politics.

You should, IMO, stand on principle, Laura, rather than support a faux Conservative and a moribund party.

Straight Talk: Thad Cochran, U.S. Senator (Miss) who endorsed Romney, recently said his choice was prompted partly by his fear of how McCain might behave in the Oval Office. "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine," Cochran said about McCain by phone. "He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me." (Source: http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/01/27/famed_mccain_temper_is_tamed/)

Voting for McCain will destroy what remains of our sovreignty!

I'd sooner be waterboarded than vote for John McCain.

I cast my absentee ballot for Romney, but I will pull the lever for any Republican vs. Hillary or Obama. To throw a hissy fit and stay home or waste my vote on a no win third party is not logical.

My vote will count in November.

I look at it this way,

If the General Election comes down to Hillary Clinton against John McCain it means I have to choose to vote for:

1. a lying-cheating-commie-loving-Kennedy-Backslapping-liberal-whore

Or

2. Hillary Clinton

I Choose:

D. None of the Above
