Ingraham on Fox ^ | 5 Feb 08 | Ingraham on Fox

Posted on 02/05/2008 4:56:49 AM PST by xzins

She clearly stated:

I'm not one of those folks who will say that I won't vote for him.

She earlier said that she just didn't think this was the time to turn to party over to the Dole/Ford wing of the Republican Party.

She called McCain an amazing man, and that she deeply respected him.

Too bad. I will never vote for McCain or Hillary, Obama and anyone else who voted against the Cornyn amendment. There are a few things a person does that remove him from any consideration to be POTUS - such as pedophilia, insanity, supporting admission of terrorists and selling out this country. Time to start thinking of 3d party?

Why vote for McCain when we can run Petraeus in 2012?

Because the Dems will do to Iraq & Afghanistan (and thus to the middle east and central asia), exactly what they did to Viet Nam and southeast asia. Cut, run, and let explode.

Unfortunately, IMO that's what it comes down to. If we lived in a time of peace, I'd agree with you 100%. It would be a no brainer to sit this one out.

We need to keep the Clintons OUT of the White House.

No, we need to keep intrusive government principle from dominating the Republican party, as that poses a far bigger long-term danger than four years (and odds are extremely high that that's all it would be) of a despised, hated Hillary Clinton presidency, which would make more Americans turn away from the Democrat party than anything Republicans could deliberately do.

Let’s not be spiteful, fellow Freepers.

For my part, spite has nothing to do with. I want to do what I can to make the Republican party change course and the only way I can do that is to refrain from default-voting for intrusive government candidates. It's a mistake to attribute my and other's motives to shallow things like spite and anger. It's correct to attribute the motives of many of us to long-term calculated risks.

The remaining 3 are all liberals as far as I’m concerned.

Based on their records, I’ve no doubt of it.

Sounds to me like Laura doesn't want to jeopardize her gigs as substitute for populist O'Reilly by cozying closer to populist McCain.

These primaries are certainly exposing a lot of idols with feet of clay.

Honest people admit that.

Ok I'll be honest, Romney is the only conservative left. You don't fool anyone. I've been over on the Religious threads. Not surprised at all you're not supporting Romney.

Laura just said she learned McCain's nickname in high school was "McNasty".

I'm not surprised.

(Someone make a thread on that please. I'm really swamped at work.)

Sorry Laura if you want to suck up to a liberal. I won’t vote for McCain.

Hi, ii, good to see you again.

You know that I have the statements of Romney, McCain, and Huckabee that demonstrate that ALL of them are liberal rinos.

It’s just a fact. All 3.

I've seen all the statements. The fact is Romney is moving to the right and McCain to the left. No vote is a vote for McCain. You can do it. Don't let religion cloud your judgement.

And she is right.

He is better than Obama, and tantrums have no place in serious national politics.

If Paul is a “liberal nut” on defense, then so were most conservatives when they opposed the Kosovo war. Paul’s hasn’t changed his views since then.

I did not support the war in Bosnia/Kosovo, but not because of the Constitution.

It was because we were supporting the jihadists against the Serbs.

Time has prove than true and that there were no mass graves.

I won’t vote for McCain. I’ll write in. The message sent to the RINOS at the RNC is give us a candidate we can vote for. Then, if there is a country left after Obama or Hillary, we can clean house.

I think Laura’s smart. Fred was my first choice, but I plan on voting for McCain in today’s New York primary.

Time has proven in both Kosovo and Iraq that politicians lie us into war. Flame away.
