The case against the Code Pink activist charged with disorderly conduct for waving her blood-colored hands at Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has stalled in federal court because defense attorneys want Miss Rice to testify.
Attorneys for the Georgetown Criminal Justice Clinic have issued a subpoena for Miss Rice to testify in a deposition about what she saw during the Oct. 24 incident at a congressional hearing.

Gosh! Ya think?
So if a gadfly organization wishes to harass someone, then prosecuting them in court results in further harassment. What a deal.
If I were the judge, I would make it quite clear that to the extent that they inconvenience the harassed party would be taken into account during subsequent sentencing phases.
Let her give the deposition. It’s 4 hours she’s too busy to promote the formation of a new Pally state.
They are trying to get DC to drop the charges by making it a pain to go forward with them.
Rice shouldn’t have to testify.
After all the activist was caught “red-handed”!
Rice: “This moonbat charged me and put bloody hands in my face. I have nothing more.”
Declare them Enemy Combatants, make it a presidential decision and take the case out of the court. Then send these traitors to Guantanamo.
I think she should testify and put the screws to this idiot!
Tthe real question, to me, is why these disruptive protesters are allowed into congressional hearings in the first place. The answer is probably that the Dems are knowingly letting them in for the specific purpose of harrassing members of the Bush administration as they testify before congressional committees. It’s basically a fascist, brownshirt tactic.
That is exavtly how they get in. Some Congressmen give them written invitations even though they are banned from coming in and the police let them back in with a written invitation.
Deposition? Why not just send them a copy of the video that millions of people saw?
