I will not attack McCain's POW status or time. I respect and am humbled by what all of those men went through for serving their country and being taken by such animal enemies.
That does not change my opposition to his political activites, as I point out in post 3.
One I purposely did not list there because it is too easy for some people to try and tie to his POW time (which I do not tie to it), is the arrogant and mean spirited way he treated veterans and their families who opposed him in the hearings on normalization of relations with Vietnam.
Despite his own service and his own treatment at the hands of the NV...I did not appreciate the way he treated those other vets. He did not have to be so acidic to them at all while maintaining his political position on that issue (which I also did not agree with).
