The Crying Game? Hillary brings back the tears

Blogger Jason George reports that Sen. Hillary Clinton had another teary moment this morning, this time in New Haven, Conn. Tears served Clinton well leading up to the New Hampshire primary.

George, who writes “The Swamp" blog for the Tribune Co.’s Washington Bureau, reports that a doctor who was introducing Clinton began to choke up, which led to Clinton's eyes filling with tears.

The tears apparently followed a reference to Clinton’s youthful fashion choices. George reports that "the doctor was saying how proud he was that sheepskin coat- (and) bell- bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president."

Clinton last welled up at an event in New Hampshire, about two days before that state's first- in-the-nation primary. A few days earlier, Clinton finished third in the Iowa caucuses, and many pundits and polls said she might lose New Hampshire as well.

After winning in New Hampshire, Clinton said she “found my voice” in her emotional moment.

Yes, she has such convenient and self-involved tears.

You’ll notice the guy with him blows it completely by continuing to smirk until he notices the camera too. That’s what I always thought was hilarious.

“All you ever gotta do is be a good man one time to one woman
And that’ll be the end of the road, babe,
I know you got more tears to share, babe,
So come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,
And cry, cry baby, cry baby, cry baby.

And if you ever feel a little lonely, dear,
I want you to come on, come on to your mama now,
And if you ever want a little love of a woman
Come on and baby baby baby babe babe baby now
Cry baby yeah.”

LOL. I was to busy looking at the con man to notice the smirker next to him.

Actually, in foreign affairs, the Crazy John meme might be the only one that serves McCain well. “In your heart you know he might” and all that jazz. Madman theory, as Nixon called it.

I don’t seem to remember her crying over 9-11. I do remember her sitting in a ceremony for the victims and rolling her eyes and sitting with a very ugly sneer on her face while GW was delivering a speech honoring the victims and the rescue workers. Seems to me she also claimed Chelsea was in NYC at that time and could have been hit by the terrorists. I would think that thought would bring tears to any parents eyes.

Nope, she did not cry over 9/11. Yes, she rolled her eyes during speech honoring victims. You remember right.

We also remember that the Rodham-rodent said Chelsea was in the area when she was no where near the 911 event. Democrats of course don’t care if their demigods lie to them. I think they actually prefer it!

I don't picture Margaret Thatcher behaving like this.

Nor do I picture Osama being particularly impressed by this behavior.
