Shake up the real conservatives?

Try shake down...

Those of us not blinded by Mitt’s glory are retiring for four years.

Fortunately it won’t matter on wit none of these guys save McCain can win the General and he is a long shot that would be a win win for the Dems.

All this so that “Mr. American” could make his bid followed by his smitten and enamored fans....

I'm glad I'm not the only Thompson supporter who doesn't see why anyone should assume I prefer Mitt Romney to any of the others. If I do vote for him, it won't be because I think he'll be all that much better than McCain or Huckabee.

Frankly, I think a Romney Presidency will have us looking back at the Bush Administration with almost as much fondness as we look back at Reagan's today.

Also, like you hinted, Hillary's licking her chops at the prospect of running against Mitt Romney. The Democrats view him as the easiest remaining candidate to beat. They're probably right. If he runs back to the left to try and pick up swing voters, he'll be rightly viewed as the worst sort of flip-flopper, one worthy of making John Kerry blush.
