Huckabee Hints Clear Channel Conspiring With Romney
NewsBusters ^ | Matthew Sheffield

Speaking at a news conference in Oklahoma, Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee floated the idea that the reason the vast majority of America's conservative talk radio hosts aren't endorsing him or John McCain is because Mitt Romney's investment firm owns a significant share of Clear Channel Communications, the nation's largest radio syndication company.

"Some suggest that the fact that Bain Capital owns a major stake in Clear Channel is on Sean's network, maybe there's a correlation. I don't know."

The Sean he was referring to had to be none other than Sean Hannity, America's number-two talk radio host behind Rush Limbaugh.

“Its funny how the media tried to hurt Romney with the incident about the family dog riding on the roof in a dog carrier, but the Media doesn’t say a peep about Suckabee’s fat son playing Jeffery Domer at BoyScout camp.
Lets see...Mike Huckabee cooks dead squirrels in a pop corn popper, and the dough boy son slits stray dogs throats...Who in their right mind would vote for SUCKABEE?”

Now here's Howard Dean in 2004:

"The most interesting theory I have heard so far, which is nothing more than a theory, I can't - think it can't be proved, is that [President Bush] was warned [about 9/11] ahead of time by the Saudis."

Notice how Dean's and Huckabee's statements involve "maybe" and "I don't know" so as to put the accusation out there without fully endorsing the accusation so as to have it both ways. Truly despicable. Obviously Dean's is more despicable but the template is the same.

LOL I’m not a fan of Mike Huckabee but I think the more important question instead of trying to tear apart a mans family problems... (Glass houses and all) Is to maybe ask Huck how he as a father handled that and did his son get the help that he needed...

I don't know."

This is why, like McCain, I will never vote for Huckabee. He is even more despicable than the Democrats, because he presents himself as a MAN OF GOD, yet, this is the THIRD time, just that I know of, where he "floats a lie", and then plays dumb (he does do that well!)

He has NO character...people talk about Romney flipping, but Huckabee has had to flip on almost ALL of his previous stances just to stay in this race. He is as big a nanny stater as any of the Democrats!

His pro life and pro gun stance cannot ever give him a pass for the way he has campaigned just like the Democrats. He is an embarrassment to Christians and to the conservative Party!

See my tagline...Huckabee is the poster child of repeating lies.

I don't know if I can ever forgive Hunter for endorsing this man, and I pray Fred doesn't, or my respect for him will be gone as well!

I’m not on Clear Channel’s payroll, and I say neither Huckabee or McCain are conservatives, they aren’t even moderates. They are flaming liberals.

There Huck goes again with another foolish statement. He’s an embarrassment. No one tells these radio hosts how to think and/or what to say.

Huck says these things because he doesn't understand the heartfelt conservatism that comes from talk radio. It's like a foreign language to him.

Let them grasp at any straws they want the facts are out there all of the Talk host were for Fred until he left and moved to the next viable choice.

These folks are trying to cause uncertainty if you are for defending this nation our only choice left is Mitt.

McCain the pawn is the darling of the left who will end up with NY Cong Nita Lowey who had to take a back seat while Hilary ran for the NY Senate.

NY Cong Nita Lowey had earned that position from all the years being in Cong but they Clinton Machine would not allow it and even had NY Cong Nita Lowey campaign for her Ouch!.

jan in Colorado the opposition will always whisper sweet nothings to try to cause one to stumble.

Yep...it’s what we should expect. Huckleberry attacked Mitt on the basis of his religion and then lied about it for weeks. He campaigned as “THE” Christian candidate with the floating Cross ad and then lied about it. McCain lied about Mitt’s stand on the WOT and then Huckleberry gleefully joined the lie. Now he’s lying about Sean and denying it and acting dumb all at the same time. I can’t believe this guy ever stood in a pulpit.

I think it is obvious to most conservatives that Huckabee is helping McCain on purpose. It has been obvious since very early on. This is really what amounts to dirty politics. Most people will hold a grudge if they think they were tag-teamed. It’s not going to work in the end for McCain, he will end up losing to the democrats. We are the party of Social conservative values. McCain’s dirty bag of tricks won’t work when it comes to conservative voters.

Lies do not work. Look at Huckaliars’ poll position as opposed to Romneys’.
