. Sorry, I just couldn't resist! ;o)
May a think about that one? LOL.
Great piece. Thanks for posting this.
I want to know if the candidates are strong willed, smart, educated about the world, informed about the threat, can define it, can identify it, can fight it, are not duped by their bureaucracy, cannot be influenced by foreign regimes or special interest groups, have the right advisors, can run an economy while commanding a war and still see the threats as they handle daily crises and take drastic measures as hard times confront them. I want to know if the candidates will be very specific when they educate their public about the menace. In short, I dont want to see the fall of Constantinople repeated on these shores in the next decade or two. Humanity will not recover from such a disaster.
“I know Mitt Romney has been using the term Global Jihad for at least a year now, if not more. He makes a point of it, and I know he gets it.”
Romney uses the words, but I’m not sure he’s yet fully aware of the threat. Don’t forget that it wasn’t so very long ago that he said he admired Hezbollah and also, that the LDS church gave million to Islamic Relief Worldwide, an Hamas-affiliated charity. A McCain staffer asked Romney about this. Romney called the guy a bigot and McCain had the staffer fired. (Doesn’t speak well for McCain either).
Walid Phares mentioned in his email earlier this week that the candidate also must be aware of the threat inside our own country and that we have infiltrations at the highest levels of government.
As I said, it is one thing to be able to use all the words. It is quite another to actually understand the threat of Islam, both here and abroad. If Coughlin could be fired from his job at the Pentagon because he knows the score and isn’t Arab-friendly enough, then we certainly do have a problem within. Romney is a “tolerant” sort of guy. Will he appease jihadists in our own country? If he really wants to pursue knowledge in this area of national security, he’d do well to pay attention to someone like Claudia Rosett or Steve Emerson.
I stand by my prior statement that Romney’s campaign has put in a lot of effort toward learning the lingo. At least that’s a start in the right direction. But words don’t mean much if the actual understanding isn’t there. So, we’ll see.
We are already F'd by a singular act of Taqiya, accepted and fostered by our own DoD.
That means America must subject itself to a tragedy of the most rigorous proportionns before the country wakes up to Islamofascism.
Its like the 1930s all over again prior to the final rise of Hitler in Germany.
We as a nation had a chance to avoid this cycle which will lead to a world war. We muffed it due to liberal socialist musings in our own government, from a bunch of bogus Utopians.
And Barrack Hussein Obama will be our undoing, just as he was Kenya's udoing.
I agree. There were so many great points it was hard to pick which one to highlight!
Here''s another one that is right on target.
Indeed, since the 9/11 and the engagement of the nation in the war with Jihadism, the selection of the US President can fundamentally affect the very survival of the American people. Whoever occupies the White House in 2009, for the next 4 to 8 years will have to make decisions that will have cataclysmic consequences on the physical security and the freedoms of 300 million citizens in this country, and eventually on the free world as a whole.
Well said. Good article. Thanks for the ping! : )
Just don’t forget that jihadists don’t always blow stuff up. Sometimes they just work through the political system. Including our own.

This is scary but what I’ve thought all along. They’ve been at it for centuries.
If you have someone better re the WOT at this point, by all means support him. As I recall, you have a problem with the Mormon church, or at least your priest does.
Yes, sadly, they are already here!
I agree with the way you think brother.
bttt for post-game read
Thanks much for your kind words.
Tends to be a lonely perspective hereon.
Though if lots of folks started agreeing, I might have another problems . . . at my door! LOL.
Just so they wakeup IN TIME to make the first elevator UP or however God works it out in their case.
I don’t care about Romney’s religion. I care about his level of tolerance interfering with our national security. And I believe you’re referring to Fr. Jonathan Morris, the priest who is a Fox News contributor.
I am an issues person. Romney has just as much to prove as anyone else. I’ve had problems with Bush’s level of tolerance, as well, as shown by his selection of Muslim representatives in this country.
Welcome to the dark side FRiend!
