Senator McCain is so full of crap. He began criticizing the size of the force and the President from the beginning. The Surge, although involving more troops, was mostly about a complete overhaul of STRATEGY, which General MYFRIENDS had absolutely nothing to do with the surge and certainly not its success.

The Troops an the Vets know this and do not support him.

Has Wallace asked him about his false claim that Mitt was in favor of a withdrawl timeline?

Or is FNS going to let Capt. Queeg slide on this one?

Yes, McCain is old school on our military force, doesn’t quite get that intelligence and IT are force multipliers. That is a big paradigm shift and some old schoolers have a hard time accepting it.

McCain has stood strong for our troops and this is one big difference between him and Hillary. Although Guiliani always said it best about the difficulties in the WOT: He always blamed the terrorists, while McCain blamed Rummy and Bush. That kind of discussion from McCain really angers me and I have sent him several emails regarding it.

None-the-less, if the choise is between Hillary/Obama and McCain/Thompson (or some other real conservative) I will vote for McCain over the beast.

I would expect if the troops were polled: Hillary or McCain, they would come down on the side of McCain. But that is just a guess on my part.

Absolutely. McCain’s plan, depending on when you heard him speak was either 250,000 American boots on the ground and a total Americanization of the war or the his Baker Commission plan which was to surrender Iraq to Syria and Iran so we could quietly sling away with our tail between our legs.

McCain tough reputation on National Security issues is a complete media fabrication that has no base in fact.
