Anybody else find it fitting that Mardi Gras, the last day of sin, vice and indulgence before Lent, and Super Tuesday both fall on the exact same day this year?

In Britain we call Shrove Tuesday Pancake Day the day when years ago you had to consume all the fat, eggs etc before the 40 days of Lent.
This is the subject I have chosen for the Singles Thread this weekend, it also includes a recipe for English pancakes.
