Gambling, with the exception of state funded lotteries, is prohibited in the U.S. It’s one of the things cartels like the NFL have pressured the government into implementing.

Now, most people gambled anyway, but then back in ‘06 they passed a law basically giving the government full unfettered access to credit card company records and banning them from handling transactions involving overseas gambling (most of the betting sites are handled either from Costa Rica or the Caribbean).

That’s the new way of controlling policy: instead of passing a law you can’t enforce, pass a law against the credit card companies preventing them from processing transactions regarding the item you want to ban. It’s a lot easier that way.

Scary stuff, isn’t it?

I couldn’t agree more

He says he turned down early release that he would have gotten because of Daddy.

Again, how do we know this?

Vets know about him. His veil of heroism is at the very least, thin.

How could you see her eyes? She was in such a soft focus she looked like she was dusted with flour! Looked like her head was stuck on a stick...

She learned from the last time. There’s nothing to be gained from that laugh, it makes her look even more evil than she normally does, although not as evil as she actually is.

“Hillary just proposed freezing mortgage rates for five years and a 90 day moratorium on foreclosures.

Is she nuts!”

Of course she is going to do this A YEAR FROM NOW!! Big help that would be.

Has anyone ever heard a journalist say “Mr Clinton” as they have been saying “Mr Bush” for the past seven years?

Presidentclinton is apparently still just one word. It is the “tell” above all for which way journalists vote.

Thanks for the information. Now I don’t have to even consider watching FNS today. I’m catching the round table and happy I missed the boring interviews. I could really care less what either Hillary or McCain have to say.

Colorado has our caucus on Tuesday and Romney will win.

How 'bout McPain's Mom saying, "He's not Conservative!" and what should Conservatives do, if your son wins the nomination? "(she holds her nose) Hold their noses, and vote!"

McCain...you say Boston Newspapers know Romney best...well, YOUR MOM should know YOU better than that!....she does...and it will make a GREAT commercial AGAINST YOU!

ROMNEY!

Standing strong in my book, for the troops, would include backing their commander in chief and by default the SoD.

McCain says he’s a leader.

He’s a bully.

And so speaking of Hillary.....

....let’s revisit for a moment the spectre of her possible election.

First, the woman DID vote FOR the war in Iraq no mind her speaking out of both sides of her mouth now that the Moonbat wing of her party should vote for her.

Hill knows that her previous administration played fiddle a little too long whilst Rome burned and I’m not convinced the Hill will just up and pull the troops. I think she’d make a better CIC then...well than Obama, for one. I’m not convinced McCain would be better than her because if no one’s mentioned it yet, this man has a horrific temper. He scares people, I’m serious. Yes, the Hill has a temper but McCain makes her look like a piker.

So...supreme court nominees? Well who’s going to be up to retire? Stevens? Ginsberg? Well these two are so liberal already that even if Hill should appoint liberals to replace, how is this worse? Conservative issues are squeaking through now. The Court might not get any better but I’d argue it won’t get worse. Oh, and don’t forget that the fine, even-tempered McCain said he thought Alito wore his conservatism on his sleeve. What the hell does that mean?

Social issues? What...I’ve not seen any amazing passion by McCain on the issue of abortion. Let’s not forget the man voted AGAINST tax cuts ..”for the rich”. He’s got Schwarz...Crist and a bunch of other libs in the tank for him and he’ll owe them. Any diff between the Hill and McCain on these matters is almost null.

Finally, IF Hill beats McCain, the pubbies in congress will have gotten a message. For I think the concept of conservatives across the fruited plains sitting this election out or voting for Micky Mouse will be widely known by the time McCain loses. thus the senators and reps will know the message. Conservatives in this country might not be a majority (although I think they are, far more than the lib media likes to present), we are a damn formidable group and on occasions, like the non-herding cats we are, we get it into our heads that we’ve had enough. A President Hillary would have to plow through that chastised Republican congress.

If conservatives swallow one more time and vote for this totally unpalatable John McCain, he of the fine even temper, this country will go liberal and will never go back.
John McCain and his so-called Republican enablers, helped by the libs who would rather have had the Hill but can live with McCain, will be emboldened as never before.

It’s my argument and I’m sticking to it.

I read Michael Reagans “McCain Hates Me”.

I think McCain actually HATES all that reagan represents. He is just using it like an old pair of socks.

It’s one of the subtle things the reporters do to show disrespect to the President. Using “Mr.” is condescending, trying to lower him down to commoner status.

Huck’s anti-Mormon streak is too big for him to consider supporting Romney, even after Mitt wins the nomination!

That bothers me too maica; but the media always refer to Bush 41 as President Bush also. I think it was anita, who told us once in one of her terrific media nuggets, the policy (written no less) of the media, is President BUsh the first time, and Mr. Bush after that. Who knows why.

Brit thinks March at the soonest for a dem winner. Interesting. LOL, both Maura and Brit tell Juan he is WRONG on the delegates. Juan is a big Hillary supporter.

Speaking of the debate, Chris talks about the “dream ticket” that Wolfie was pushing. I doubt seriously that Barak would accept second fiddle to Hillary and I’m certain that Hillary would never accept the number two slot.

Kristol brings reality into the question: Barack would NEVER ask Hillary to be his running mate.

Has anyone heard the words “Romney” and “Maine” in the same sentence today?
