HOW THE CLINTONS WILL DESTROY JOHN MCCAIN |

The number of fellow Senators who think John McCain is psychologically unstable is large. Some will admit it publicly, like Thad Cochran who says, "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine." Others relate times when McCain screamed four-letter obscenities right in their faces in the Senate cloak room, like Dick Shelby, Rick Santorum, or Jim Inhofe. "The man is unhinged," one Senator told me. "He is frighteningly unfit to be Commander-in-Chief."
The small group of Senators and Congressmen who have been briefed by T have been unable to confirm with the CIA any details of its document swap with the GRU beyond an admission that such a swap "may have happened." They are very nervous about pursuing the matter any further.
[A Yogi Berra note. There still is a chance for Romney, the last remaining hope. If he can win enough delegates on Super Tuesday next week, combined with Huckabee winning Georgia and other southern states, it may still be possible for McCain to end up with only a plurality of delegates, not a majority, at the end of primary season. An open convention is still possible, during which Republicans could come to their senses. It's not over until it's over.] |
Easy greasy... point it out. say it's awful...but make sure everybody hears about it.
typical.
I will not vote for McCain, so i better get ready to short pharmaceutical stock, energy stocks and make a bundle like I did the first time the Blow Job President was elected.
Won't that be the something else
Bill Clinton, the CIA asset
“(liberals suck....... but it depends on what your definition of the word “suck” is.,)”
Okay, DV...how’s this: They’re not good enough to suck!
Dittos! (I will vote "R" in November...)
But, you get what you settle for. Or, what many alleged conservatives have settled for.
"How in the world can the Republican Party get saddled with a nutcase whack-job who knows nothing about economics, is so anti-capitalist he uses "profit" as a term of derision, has never run a business or had any job outside of government, will raise taxes, is so stupid that he believes "stopping global warming" is worth destroying the American economy, won't drill ANWR, won't appoint strict constructionist justices, won't protect marriage, will give amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens, is beloved by the New York Times, and lives in a delusionary world of vanity and rage?"
A picture of McCain with Mai Van, one of the men who allegedly captured him.
McCain with Col. Bui Tin, one of his interrogators.
(I don't know about you, but if I was brutally tortured for years, I can't imagine EVER embracing by torturer)
He's just misunderstood!
“(I don’t know about you, but if I was brutally tortured for years, I can’t imagine EVER embracing by torturer)”
I couldn’t either. Especially if I was just another John Q.
Public or John Doe Citizen of the USA. McCain is all of that and more. He could never have continued to serve the country in greater capacities had he carried the bitter hatred around for all of these years. His world has changed and that tells me that he still has time to change.
There is enough time between now and the election for babies to be conceived and born in the USA. I think that’s a poignant enough statement of the fact that 9 months is time enough to change one’s viewpoint and outlook.
I wish I could believe that all our enemies are foreign. I do not. In fact, I firmly and unswervingly believe that our most dangerous enemies are right here and ensconced in the American left. AlQaida cannot destroy us, but THEY can.
Bump
Bitter hatred is one thing. An embrace like your long lost brother is another.
“An embrace like your long lost brother is another.”
These guys do things for appearances sake all the time. What all of that was really about, I have no idea! Why should I care today?
The Dims asked the same question about John F'in Kerry back in 2004. As I recall, he wanted to run on the basis of being a war hero, also.
“AlQaida cannot destroy us...”
Ahem...To what extent short of al Qaeda’s destroying us are you “okay with” anyway? None for me, thanks.
You're right. He's more closely a casualty of war, a victim, than a hero.
Mostly he functions as a figleaf for the chickenhawks.
“The Dims asked the same question about John F’in Kerry back in 2004.”
McCain didn’t throw his medals back at the White House. In fact, he was still a POW at the time of Kerry’s big “give-back” and I don’t believe the medals bestowed upon him (McCain) came with an expiration date.
Yes, I completely concur with that line of thought, however, if these stories are true (and former Vietnam POWs have been saying these things for many years) then McCain should have become a beer distributor in AZ and stayed out of politics. Politics is a dirty business where all the skeletons in ones closet have a way of being outed and in the worst possible way at the worst possible time.
I sympathize with what McCain endured in Vietnam but I do not find someone who turned on his fellow prisoners and his country to be a "war hero" and because there is this cloud hanging over McCain (among other reasons) I will never, never vote for him.
And, if the accounts were correct...he was having a good old time being a POW at that time.
Look, the way I see it we have a classic example of Hobson’s Choice for this Presidential Election:
- We have a definite socialist who is a radical abortion supporter (and who has some questionable ties in his background to radical Islam)
- We have a definite socialist who is a radical abortion supporter (and who has some questionable ties in her background to some pretty unsavory radical 60s groups, as well as a presumptive lesbian affair with a Muslima)
- We have a person whose career since adulthood has been characterized by being a traitor to conservatism (and, if the accounts are correct, was not as honorable as one would like to see while being held captive)
- We have a person whose career has demonstrated a lack of political backbone...and who, apparently, found his conservative roots suspiciously around the same time he decided to run for president. May have been a legitimate conversion of heart, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.
So what choice is there this time around? All I can say is that I might...emphasize MIGHT (as in MAYBE)...be able to hold my nose for the last one mentioned. But that’s as far as I will compromise myself.
