Wow, impressive page at your link! I always like bottlenecked pistol cartridges, I’ve had Tokarevs and CZs. Like it said, a 9mm bullet is going to slide into a .40 chamber EVERY TIME.
Did you get a .40 Wolf barrel with threads for accessories? That would be a good thing to do. The .40 is easily subsonic if you want it to be.

I have shot or carried just about everything at some point in my life and the 357SIG is gonna get a fair shake from me till new and improved shows up.
But if you told me that I was gonna go up against human aggressors triple threat today and asked what I would carry for that solution in a “handgun”.......I’d go get my 1911A1 in 45acp back out of the safe as that is what I have trained and carried the most with. Memorymatic skills with a good stopping round and a launcher I am familiar with wins everyday with a handgun used in sh*t’n go blind times !
