Appeal to Mike Huckabee, be a conservative Hero

Dear Mr. Huckabee,

For the sake of the Republican Party and your future political viability, please consider stepping down before this “Super” Tuesday.

I know this is asking a lot, but most conservatives despise John McCain as a politician. If you cause him to be selected in the primary, this will hang around your neck like an albatross. You will not be able to remove it. If you think you will have favoritism from McCain, first, you can't trust him and second, he will not be elected. The base, a good percentage of what would be your future voters, will not vote for him. He will loose to the Democrat candidate, and your political future will be over.

If you have people reading this forum (I strongly suspect you do), then please consider backing out of this race. If done correctly, you could elevate your political future and gain the appreciation from a very dedicated national base.

You do not want "moderate" or "independent" love, because they are so fickle. You do want our respect. Please step aside for now.

Thank you,

Free Atlanta

I don’t think so. In one case I spoke to people who have been working for the right to life movement for many years. The have kept in touch with people in Massachusetts who worked to defend the unborn. They were astonished so many people were being fooled by Romney. They said he puts his personal ambition above any and everything, especially families and the unborn.

If he had not sounded so steadfast in his support for gays and abortion, perhaps people would believe him. But there is just so much information out there with him saying things no Christian would ever support, he cannot overcome it.

If he was saying he was a liberal, he has plenty of proof and time put in proving that. But he says he is now a conservative. The only proof they have is his word. Given his propensity to lie, that’s just not good enough.

He certainly didn’t favor them. That is odd. If you were governor, wouldn’t you want the feds to cut taxes to help your economy?

He also sounds like a keynesian. Does he really believe that borrowing money for a tax rebate would stimulate the economy?

That was my point. I guess I worded it badly. I do not trust Romney’s words because Romney’s actions give lie to them.

You are wasting your breath. Huckabuck is a combination of “Open-Borders for Jesus”, Hope Arkansas Hubris, McCain stalking horse and Hillbilly Ass-Hat.

You can sum up Romney in one word: Liar. Though you could use the word uncredible also.

“You can sum up Romney in one word: Liar. Though you could use the word uncredible also.”

Who said anything about Romney?

I certainly didn’t. What’s your point?

Dear Mr. Huckabee,

After selling out conservatives in Arkansas for almost a decade, we here in your home state find it interesting that you are now trying to run as a conservative. Perhaps that’s why only around 200 people showed up when you came to Arkansas today for a rally in the most conservative county in the state.

Particularly puzzling is your record in Arkansas on conservative issues such as illegal immigration, taxes, expanding government, granting more clemencies than our 6 neighboring states, and implementing a state-wide smoking ban on private property. Sir, how can you, with such a nanny-state record, have the guts to call anyone else a flip-flopper or a late-blooming conservative? Isn’t that just the pot calling the kettle black?

Oh wait, I forgot that you’re a Christian so your record doesn’t matter. And as a Christian, I am not supposed to look at your RECORD as governor, I am only supposed to listen to what you are now saying on the campaign trail, and shut-up and drink the kool-aid. Furthermore, I am not supposed to be alarmed by your flippant jokes in response to questions on serious foreign policy matters, or your constant class envy remarks about Romney’s wealth that you apparently stole from the John Edwards class-bating book.

Please, for the sake of our party step down. I would rather lose on principal than to win on dishonesty.

Sincerely,
RebekahT

So, you are voting for Hillary or BHO?

lol! Is that line in The Official GOP Book of Comebacks?

No, I am not voting for a liberal, no matter what their party affiliation.

Have you mentioned that McCain is for tax -funded embryonic cell research? And that he doesn’t think homosexual behavior is a sin?
