It is possible that McCain may have peaked too early. If Romney can get enough delegates on Super Tuesday to stay competitive, the momentum could be taken out of the McCain campaign. He has already gotten the high profile endorsements and their significance will diminish over time.

The race is over. See realclear avgs.
Time to move on.

That’s a great char, but I object to using the term POWs for the Gitmo jailbirds. Calling them terrorist detainees would be more accurate.

Re: Candidate Comparison Chart
Why was The Huckster left off the chart? He’s the one hurting Romney.

Your chart is deficient in several ways.
First, it excudes half the remaining Republicans. (Maybe that's how Hew Hewitt intended it, but FReepers know better.)
Also, it conveniently omits a number of major policy questions that neither "front-running" candidate wants to talk about. I wonder why.
Here is a chart that makes up for those omissions and puts things in proper perspective.

As I’ve pointed out before a posting of that chart, it has Romney wrong on the only one relevant to him as governor: He also opposed the Bush tax cuts. Not sure what consulting his lawyers would do to Gitmo, surrendering Iraq to Iran would do.) He supported multiple sanctuary cities in his state. I’ll be voting for none of the four... thank you.
