I have had the same thoughts my self. It is my opinion that the Iraq war is all but over, the American people will not support troops in Iraq much longer. The longer we leave them there now the more we now put Afghanistan at risk and we need to be there for the next thirty years.
But none of that changes the fact that insane McCain is not mentally are physically fit for command.
I believe the war is not going to be the main issue, since we are winning in Iraq and the DEMS are not going to have a defeat blamed on them.
Illegal immigration is the top issue and certainly comes under national security. McCain is totally wrong on immigration, and closing Guantanamo....along with Huckabee who agrees with McCAin on those issues. GO MITT!
