Before you read my comment below, be aware that I'd vote for Romney before I'd EVER vote for McCain. [Huckabee is not even a consideration.]

Romney is the one candidate left who has a chance to win who actually is willing to use the WH bully pulpit to advance the culture of life and you oppose him?
Mitt Romney is not going to do the "bully pulpit" to advance the culture of life. The man vigorously supported Choice. He may have flipped to some degree on that, but I do not believe that he is vigorously pro-Life now.

Immigration is way down the list in today’s world.

Let me make sure I have this correctly, you favor fighting terrorists overseas so we can let them walk across our borders undetected? Makes sense to me .

Really you don't even have to guess what type of judge McInsane would bring forward. He already said Alito was way to conservative for him. Sure he lied and said he never said such a thing. Unfortunately for him (us really) others heard him. And your point is a good one, does anyone really belive he is going to go battle with his "good friends" Kennedy, Kerry and Schumer over a cause he has publically stated he has no intention of battling. Overturning Roe v Wade that is.

The other defense that he was the only one in favor of the surge is laughable. To his credit he was but so was Romney, McInsane was the only one holding public office at the time of debate and it's not like the media seeks out former govenors for their opinions on anything. Well not unless they're the all knowing greatest President ever, BJ Clinton.

You know what, I live in the same state at McCain. I have called a troll on here before because I said I will vote any other party against him. He is a career politician. Anything you think of the caricature of a slimy politician is him. He will say what he thinks his current audience wants to hear, he has kissed the butts of the last two presidents. But, he has not represented those he is supposed to. He is so busy being Mr. Popularity, he does not give a damn what we in his state think. He has had his office flooded with calls on an issue and voted the opposite way — because he wanted to. I remember someone on this board said she called his office on the amnesty bill and got lectured by the woman who answered the phone on how McCain was right and anyon not agreeing was wrong. I wish we had better choices, but Huckabee is frightening and McCain is outright terrifying.

You know what I think about Ruby Julie-Annie.

My first two choices are gone.

Huckabee is just another Arkansas governor who carries the Bible for the television cameras.

McCain is going to cost Republicans huge losses in the House and Senate. He will also lose the election.

Where the hell do you think we will be then?

Selecting judges in Massachusetts is a bit different from choosing judges nationwide. There aren’t many conservative candidates in Massachusetts. Not many Republicans either.

Do you mean to say Romney couldn't find anyone better than a Lesbian activist when he made that judicial appointment? There just weren't any straights or Republicans in the whole state of Massachusetts he could have chosen instead?

The guy suddenly claims to be a fire breathing right winger (for this campaign), 75% of his judges are not even registered republicans and that is your big convincing cover story?

He is no leader.

I really thinking about sitting this one out.

I too had those thoughts, but upon reflection I will vote for a third party candidate. At the moment the Constitution Party looks the best.

No wonder the socialist scumbag McCain is "your guy". I saw this post from you on another thread:

It’s legal for a rich man to live in a $10 million mansion.. but why can’t the same man just have a very nice $2 million mansion and give the rest to the poor?

What you mean is, "Why shouldn't big government be allowed to confiscate more money from successful people and hand it over to Democrat politicians so they can continue to buy the votes of their primary base of losers, bums, and parasites?"

Bunky, you're on the wrong forum.

“btw, McCain also voted in favor of confirming Ruth Bader Ginsberg.”

She was confirmed 97-3.. Almost every republican voted for her. Again, your point?

On Warren Rudman as A-G? so what? The A-G has no power over abortion. McCain did not list Rudman as his model justice. He routinely says his ideal justice is Robert, Scalia, Thomas and Alito, all of whom he supported. BTW, where was Mitt during the Clarence Thomas battle... Oh yea. He was an independent during the time of Reagan Bush(when Thomas was appointed)... he did not want to go back to Reagan Bush...or so he told Teddy Kennedy)

McCain’s record of support for these stalwart conservatives contrasts nicely with the gay activists Mitt appointed to the Courts in Massachusetts. You are on the losing side of this argument, my friend.

You are wrong. And, with all due respect you really have no idea what you are talking about, but these guys do:

Forgive me, if I defer to them, rather than you.

Fox news is reporting that Fred Thompson will endorse McCain after Tuesday! I guess it was to be expected.

Again, being governor of a leftist state like Massachusetts is a far different environment than being President of the US. On a national level, conservatives have far more input. Knowing that, McCain still voted in favor of an ACLU-er like Ginsberg.

Of all the guys left in the race, I have the most hope for Mitt Romney. He is the only one who I think could surprise me and rise to the challenge.(of being a decent president)

Not a surprise. Birds of a feather flock together.

If that is true, I have no doubt that Thompson only entered this race to help McCain.

OK - I agree. Thanks for the reply, but honestly - Romney couldn't do better than a Lesbian activist who was so far left she almost fell off the state?

Come on.

At one time or another Myth Romney has betrayed the Constitution, Reaganism, the Contract With America and the Republican Party. Romney is no conservative --- he's a phony, a fraud, with the record of an abortionist. Watch this video.

I don't see how any pro-life conservative can watch that video and still say with principle and conviction, they can support Romney to be the GOP nominee. Period.

Look at the video. It represents the anti life steps he has taken since he allegedly converted to prolife.
