In Londonistan, Christianity is slowly being squeezed out of existence.

Police quizzed him for four hours last month, on suspicion of religiously aggravated assault, but he was released without charge.
Quiz in an interesting word.
He assaulted the muslim's religion by attempting to practice his own.

So, help me to understand here.
Covering up the Crucifix and Mary are NOT ‘crimes’ but UNcovering them are...
OK, got it. (I'm surprised they're allowed in the chapel at all these days or that the hospital isn't made to have a separate chapel...)

Muslims out of the West. People who hate Western cultures should not be allowed to live in the West. They should be required to return to and stay in their Islamic hell hole countries of origin, natal or ancestral. See my tagline.

It’s just a sign of muslim intolerance. I don’t see why they need to cover up the signs of other people’s faith at all. If I was going into an ecumenical prayer room, I wouldn’t feel the need, for instance, to cover up a koran.

I know that this is going to get me flamed, however a large part of what is going on here is power within the hospital that has very little to do with religion. Mr. Protano was fired because he is a porter, low on the hospital hierarchy. The others in the complaint much higher in hierarchy then he, "three Muslims were using it - two patients and a doctor". Doctors outrank everyone except administrators. If there is a complaint between a doctor and a porter, the porter losses.
This is not to say that Mr. Protano was not within his rights in his wish that the prayer room's furnishing not be changed by anyone who used the room, without permission from the hospital. I am also in no way saying that Islam isn't encroaching on fundamental freedoms of the Western World.
However, if there is a complaint between a Catholic doctor and a Muslim porter, the Muslim porter is going to loose. Mr. Protano was treated so poorly because he was a porter and the other person was a doctor.

A HOSPITAL porter has been sacked after a row over a crucifix being covered up in a prayer room.
Yet hospital workers are required to turn the beds of Muslim patients to face Mecca five times a day. Sick and hypocritical. The UK is lost.

The thing I don’t understand is that if the Crucifix and the image of Our Lady meant nothing to the Muslims, then they could have just ignored them.
Yet they covered them and turned them away — so even Muslims believe they mean something...which actually places them a notch above atheists in my book.
