Well I wish you good luck and God’s speed with your citizenship. We need more people like you. Here legally and already helping many of us learn and understand some of the stuff going on in the mid East.

Thank you for the most excellent news, jveritas!
I had wondered what was up when I heard they had remotely detonated two women who had Down’s Syndrome.
That seemed to be something new, or at least I hadn’t heard of them using that tactic before.

Thank you for the ping, senor!
I always appreciate news about the WOT, especially GOOD news.

Did Paul Bremer do an ID program in Iraq? No.
Maybe not Bremer....
Did he make ANY effort to identify Baathists from “normal Iraqis” and from loyal Saddamists?

-not all Ba’athists were bad; there’s a reason this is known

No. Did he make any effort to ID “good” Iraqi policemen and soldiers to help with security? No. Nothing. All - the good and the bad - were simply disbursed into the local population.

-Don’t be so sure of this......I remember Iraqi Policemen in Saddam uniforms helping provide security at a hospital

-also remember, the Iraqis wanted De-Ba’athification

But, I’d take your word for it if you #1 you were “here” and I didn’t see with my own eyes...for the fourth time now
#2 you weren’t buying into the MSM

- Furthermore you could Monday Morning quarteback it all you want. After the fall of Baghdad there was no large insurgency...I know; I was here.

And...I was home again before the insurgency ignited

I don’t see how the policy was all that bad
-the more terrorists that go to Iraq to die; the less that go to the US to kill
