As bad as he is on the border, getting along with the RATS, and spending way too much money, history will give Bush credit for his decisions to take down Hussein. Had we just sat back, terrorists would have been emboldened around the world. The Jihadists may well have had nukes by now that would have been delivered to some of our largest cities.

The author of the thread posted in big, bold, red letter that the "Situation is very difficult, weapons are few, and men are even fewer".
The responses on the thread were mostly of desperation and they were saying "allah help us".

Wow! I guarantee that this will never make it to the driveby media. Can't have victory before the election, otherwise how would hillary or osama/obama withdraw our Forces in humiliating defeat with their tails between their legs?
Keep up the valuable work, jveritas, and remember to watch your back

God bless President Bush. If not for his strong leadership we would have surrendered to the terrorists long time ago and now the world will be living in a new dark age. Imagine the terrorists controlling Iraq and the whole Middle East with 500 billions dollars in oil revenues, 40% of oil resources, and millions of volunteers for the terrorist cause, it will be worst than any nightmare we can ever imagine.

He said that the last bastion controlled by the terrorists in Baghdad has fell in the hands of the US and Iraqi forces. The Iraqis can smell it and taste it - it is just about over. Notwithstanding the bombs today, the end is near. They will have their country back and we will have a battle-tested ally right in the heart of the Middle East. Thousands of young Iraqi army men who have developed relationships with thousands of US soldiers. This is al Qaeda and bin Laden's worst nightmare. This is why they knew they could never allow Iraq to be pacified by the US. Now, not only have we pacified it, but they unwittingly have caused the entire population to revulse them. This is not just a victory. This will be considered one day one of the most important and decisive victories against terror the world has ever known.
