No, Completely different, Perot a 3rd party in the General... not just primaries, Only 8% of Republican Delegates have been awarded at this point... at this point it would be stupid of him to drop out before Tuesday anyway. We will have alot better picture of where we are headed then, I think that makes it close to half the states then. I think Huckabee would consider dropping out if he does not get more delegates Tuesday though, but I would agree that He and McCain have sort of teamed up against Romney lately. I read that as, If McCain is the nominee, Huckabee will be his VP and Visa versa. I dont see many of the people that would vote for Huckabee voting for Romney if he did drop out, I think they would all go to McCain. But I also think alot of Florida Dems re-registed as Republicans to vote for McCain since their delegates were not going to count anyway. That is the only reason he has a lead right now.

Now I’m all-in with Governor Huckabee, and I strongly advise anyone who cares about the truth to get on board.

What on earth gave you the notion that Hucklebee has even a passing familiarity with the truth?

I have seen him lie with my own eyes and heard him lie with my own ears.

What you are suggesting is exactly the same suggestion you find in the old joke about the woman who comes home to find her husband in bed with another woman. He denies it right to her face, with the tramp still beside him in the bed: "Who you goin' to believe, honey? Me, or your lying eyes?"

You can believe Huckabee's lies if you want. Me, I'm trusting in my own eyes and ears.

Governor Romney is a power-hungry, thin-skinned, vindictive, double-talking fraud:

“I’m tired of people trying to rewrite history, to change facts. Again, don’t rely on the candidate’s own web sites for info, but do you your research!”

Apparently you’d rather rely on the Huffington Post, without even bothering to read the rebuttal (third link below). That’s not research. It’s self-delusion.

“I asked him, ‘Is it normal for the state police to … investigate something that happened at a Boy Scout camp?’”

I ask, is it "normal" for there to be a killing of a dog at a Boy Scout camp? Certainly, in my professional experiences, it is not considered "normal" for young men to kill dogs. Except maybe in Arkansas.

Actually I’m not. See post #2 at the link below:

You didn't post a quote of his, you didn't post any quotes from within the last 10 years, you didn't post any of his legislative record. All you did was c/p from a site. Probably a website Huckabee put up. You can't see the trees for the forest or the forest for the trees.

The simple fact is that we had a chance this election to get a President who would appoint 2 to 4 SCOTUS justices. We had a chance to overturn Roe vs. Wade and save hundreds of thousands of babies. Someone took their eyes off the ball.

Please explain to me, with charts, graphs and/or a power point presentation (or a music video, if you'd like) how a PRESIDENT gets an amendment to the Constitution passed. Or, if you'd prefer, we'll assume that the Senate and House pass the amendment (snort), you can just list for me the states which will pass it to get to 75% ratification.

So far, no Huckabite has done anything of the sort. A tacit admittal that their support of Huckabee is to make themselves feel good and has nothing to do with saving any babies.

The truth about the Wayne Dumond case, for those who care

The truth is that Huckabee wrote a letter to Wayne Dumond and said that he was glad he was getting out. You cannot spin that. Huckabee was telling everyone who'd listen that Wayne Dumond, a serial sex offender, had gotten a bum rap. He has the discernment of a blind palm reader.

“All you did was c/p from a site. Probably a website Huckabee put up.”

It’s becoming apparent who the liar is. I composed the post myself.

“You didn’t post a quote of his, you didn’t post any quotes from within the last 10 years, you didn’t post any of his legislative record.”

You may want to actually read it. The November 7 quote at the bottom is from November 7, 2007:

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1957398/posts?page=2#2
Even as a “red state” Republican, Senator Thompson repeatedly voted with the trial lawyers against limitations on liability in defective product and medical malpractice cases. He played a critical role in the passage of McCain-Feingold’s immoral and blatantly unconstitutional restrictions on political free speech. He supported the expansion of NAFTA and opposes a Marriage Protection Amendment to prevent our most liberal states from establishing legal definitions of marriage that vary from the historical meaning of the word. He voted President Clinton “not guilty” of perjury at the end of the impeachment trial:

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1932681/posts

Senator Thompson’s weakness on the right to life is about much more than federalism. Even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, he’s said consistently since 1994 that he wouldn’t support state laws to prohibit abortion. During his 1994 campaign he said, “I’m not willing to support laws that prohibit early-term abortions.” He told Project Vote Smart, “Abortions should be legal in all circumstances as long as the procedure is completed within the first trimester of the pregnancy.” He explicitly refused to support laws prohibiting abortions for convenience:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=P5a_Fpu_8KE

In 1996 he signed a document saying, “I do not believe abortion should be criminalized.” He still personally opposes laws to prohibit abortion:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=F1tfGh3ITCc
http://youtube.com/watch?v=kTQxoXD-scw
http://youtube.com/watch?v=H-b1xQNRA4g

Here’s a quote from that November 7 conversation with Tim Russert:

“When I saw—and again, ALL CONSISTENT WITH WHAT I’VE SAID [emphasis mine]. I—people ask me hypothetically, you know, OK, it goes back to the states. Somebody comes up with a bill, and they say we’re going to outlaw this, that or the other. And my response was I do not think it is a wise thing to criminalize young girls and perhaps their parents as aiders and abettors or perhaps their family physician... I do not think that you can have a, a, a law that would be effective and that would be the right thing to do ...”

“I ask, is it ‘normal’ for there to be a killing of a dog at a Boy Scout camp?”

Of course not. Are you suggesting the state police ought to investigate anything that isn’t “normal”? Or would you only apply that rule to the family members of elected officials against whom you have a personal vendetta?

Depends. Is it a crime to kill an animal in the way this apparently happened? If so, it should be investigated. Doesn’t matter who did it, or who his daddy is.

“How do you pick the least of the three evils?
You pick the one with the best potential to defeat the Clintons.

I think Mike Huckabee is that guy. He is the best speaker, best debater, most likable, the hardest campaigner, the youngest, most energetic, most humorous, most talented, who would get the support of the most loyal republican demographic, the pro-life folk, but also the hispanic vote (Key! Key! Key!); because he is not perceived as a radical anti-immigrant fiend, and because he is the most empathetic to the economic plight of people, because he has executive experience, and he has bold initiatives, like abolishing the IRS and building a wall to secure our country, etc. etc. He is the guy.”

That would also be HUGE ... HUGE ... if the Dem nominee is Obama in the fall.

Can you imagine a debate between mean, old, tired, McCain, next to young, energetic, inprirational, Obama????

A VOTE FOR HUCKABEE IS A VOTE FOR HUCKABEE!!

Huckabee - reliably pro-life, not recently pro-life.

Huckabee - reliably pro 2nd amendment, not recently 2nd amendment.
He understands that it is for self defense, not just hunting and sports.

He is an ardent, articulate supporter of the Fair Tax, and I believe he really “gets it”. It is the best hope on the horizon for giving power back to the people, and waking people up to the stranglehold the current tax system has on the people and the economy.

If Duncan Hunter believes he can be trusted on border/immigration and WOT issues, I would trust Duncan Hunter’s informed, educated judgment after he spent a year getting to know the candidates, than I would trust the opinion of any of the haters on here.

Don’t let the people who say he can’t be elected give us another self fulfilling prophecy of having to settle for someone we have to HOPE will do what he says. Right now it’s just name recognition, and when most people get to know Mike Huckabee, they like him.

They were both governors, but those people give Romney a pass for not being able to do what he “really” wanted, because he had a Democrat legislature to work with, when Huckabee was able to work successfully with his Democrat legislature.

Every vote for Mike Huckabee on Tuesday will be one more vote to show the establishment and the media that the election can’t be bought and we don’t to settle for “that’s the best we can get”.

Romney could love a fair number of evangelicals in the South and still beat Hillary while Huckabee would be an easier candidate in the South. But ONLY the South.

This is like a race with between 1. Your accountant 2. Your Priest/Rabbi/Minister/Pastor 3. Your lawyer 4. Your Ex-Father-In-Law.

Its hard to choose one of the first three as to which one you would like to give even more control over your life. But you sure as hell aren’t going to pick the fourth choice since you know he never liked you in the first place.

Ok. I did a bit of research and I can't find anything to contradict your quotes. That is a convincing enough argument to acquiesce on that point. It's a bit of a moot point as he's no longer in the race.

However, you avoided the last part of my post like the plague. As has every "purist" on abortion. Which I find as equally telling as Fred Thompson's quotes.

“Is it a crime to kill an animal in the way this apparently happened? If so, it should be investigated. Doesn’t matter who did it, or who his daddy is.”

Exactly. And if it isn’t a crime, it shouldn’t be investigated, no matter how much of a stink the left-wing loonies at the ALDF make about it.

The local prosecutor only contacted the state police after he was bombarded with ALDF-generated complaints. That’s a second point your prejudiced Snopes article conspicuously fails to mention.
