Snopes said in 1995 that it was plausible, and it could have easily changed since then. It was not debunked in 1995, it simply wasn’t proven.

Snopes lies.

Regarding this story. First off it is China not Taiwan at is parts of the fetus made into a soup and it is touted for its health benefits.

I know this because I have seen it with my own eyes.
