I can’t stand McCain but what are all these people going to do in November if McCain is the nominee? Stay home? Vote for Hillary or Osama/Obama? Stay home? Vote Third Party?
Geeeesh! We’re in a mess.
BUMP
Fred looks better and better every time the multiple serious faults and vulnerabilities of the three remaining candidates are exposed. I wonder if it's possible to bring his campaign back to life after he officially dropped out of the race? Of course if he could not get back on the ballots of the Super Tuesday states in time a revival of his campaign would be useless anyway, so it looks like a sure thing that either RINO John or RINO Mitt will be carrying the GOP flag when it goes down to inglorious defeat next November.
Whichever of those two losers win nomination will owe their right to be buried in the landslide that will come in November to duped GOP voters in the early primaries who fell for the media's big lie that these turkeys are actually good conservatives who simply got a bad rap from the evil far right kooks of the party who wanted another far right kook like Hunter or Fred as their nominee.
Personally I have had enough stress and anguish for one election cycle. I won't vote for McNutt in November, and I will have to think long and hard before I break my vow not to vote for any RINO before I even consider voting for Mitt. If the Dems nominate Sheik Barack Hussein Obama I may be forced to rethink my vow in light of the unthinkable disaster that an Obama administration would be. But if I do decide to vote for Mitt under that one extreme circumstance, God willing, that will be the last time I vote for a RINO under any circumstances.
If conservatives keep allowing the media to manipulate us into situations where our only viable choices for a presidential nominee are RINOS, then all the nominees we will ever elect to office, providing that we manage to actually elect one every blue moon or so, will be more RINOs. I had once hoped that the Reagan era and what then seemed to be the popularity of conservative principles in general during his two terms had changed all that, but apparently not. Conservatives labor under the misapprehension that once the voters have seen the benefits of a conservative president and administration they will always be in the conservative camp on election day. How much more bitter disappointment somewhat ameliorated by an illusionary "win" now and then can there be for conservatives before the big climactic disappointment comes and our once glorious Republic is gone forever?
I guess Dobson is for Huckabee, then, so therefore he is for McCain. A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. Another useful idiot for McCain.
I am truly sorry, but that dog don't hunt anymore. There is no reason to keep our boys over there if we can't protect the border over here. The two are forever intertwined.
The pubbies lost credibility for their excursions elsewhere the very moment they refused to build the fence and handle the immigration problem. Their reason cannot be as stated, as the gigantic hole they choose to leave open is one hundred times the threat posed by those across the sea.
I voted Bush back in "for the war". That was the ONLY reason I voted for him, and look what we all got from our support.
NEVER AGAIN.
Waa. Pickin’ on the Mormon, hm?
You’re a bit too sensitive about the “Mormon” thing, Saundra. From what I can tell, personally, it looks like Dobson is in fact more inclined to vote for Romney than any other candidate.
“Fred looks better and better every time the multiple serious faults and vulnerabilities of the three remaining candidates are exposed.”
Remember the constant spamming by the Romney followers that “ A vote for Thompson is a vote for McCain” it was constant and unrelenting.

My statement that we owe our Military to NOT (RE-)install a Clinton as Commander-n-Chief has nothing to do with where our troops are presently located or the job they are currently assigned.
While I believe it is vital that we get control of our borders; our Country, for that matter. . .the 'two' are related; but not forever entwined.
We make the best decisions we can; and considering the 'upside/downside' of say. . .John Kerry winning or even 'algore'; can only suggest that for you; perhaps it was not the 'right decision'; but it surely was the best one possible.
The reason we had these terrorists on our soil to begin with, was Liberal policy with immigration/ lack of profiling et al.
We can close our borders; but with Libs guiding us by their manipulations of political correctness; it will not matter. These America-hating terrorists/jihadists will be; as they are. ..legally, right under our collective nose.
Good graphic, Jane.
Your Handy Candidate Comparison Chart.
Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, may have endorsed Romney this morning on the Laura Ingram show, a FReeper reported on another thread.
Cricket, I understand what you’re saying but our brave young men and women by training do not allow the political fray to affect the way they conduct themselves in their service or respect for duty.
And I simply cannot reward a candidate for his transgressions, the benefit of this Republican’s vote.
