Fox reporter said they might have had Down Syndrome. Cannot be confirmed, though.

Yep, this article says the women may have had down sydrome.

These people are savages. It’s one thing to volunteer yourself, but quite another to send someone unknowingly off to their death. Sick people.

But I thought that this was the religion of peace! They seek peace! They love their children and don’t put bomb belts around their waists. They love their women and don’t force them to kill themselves and other people. They treat mentally retarded people with kindness and love, since this is the religion of peace, and don’t force or trick them to kill themselves and other people.
They are innocent victims as well, the most innocent of all. It’s sickening.

You make a good point. It’s likely, as Down Syndrome persons, these women had no idea what they were getting themselves into and were just going to look at the animals at the pet market.
