San Diego, CA --
Mitt Romney gave 18 million dollars of his own money to his campaign in the last three months of 2007. In total, he has poured 35 million dollars of his personal fortune into his campaign.
The Romney camp also reported raising 9 million dollars in donations in the fourth quarter equaling 53.5 million dollars for the entire year. The campaign spent 33.8 million during the last 3 months of the year equaling 87.6 million dollars spent in 2007. The camp reports having 2.4 million dollars cash on hand at the end of the year. The campaign did not release any numbers for January meaning that Romney may have donated even more than 35 million dollars to his campaign.
The camp launched an aggressive ad blitz today signaling that former Massachusetts governor may have used more of his vast wealth, which is estimated at upwards of 250 million dollars.
Campaigns were required to file their end of the year finance reports today with the Federal Election Commission.

Absolutely right. That's why no real Conservative can ever support a pathological liberal liar like Romney.
Bearing false witness is not a conservative value.
It’s his money, honey.
A just released Fox poll has McPain up substantially over Romney ... it had better start turning for Romney in a big way over this weekend.
I know, sweetie. Yet you still keep posting bullcrap.
Please. Watch your language.
I apologize for the use of the word “sweetie.”
“Not to bust balls, just to explain why Hucks people arent Satans spawn. I know you love Mitt, and cant conceive of it, but some do honestly think he has been dishonest in the campaign.”
The Huckster, since Iowa, has not won any states. Romney has and has come in second in about 4. The Huckster can’t win. He is staying in to get a position in McCain’s Admin. He is a cohort of the totally liberal McCain. The Huckster espouses many liberal positions. You knock Romney for alleged liberal positions, even though he constantly speaks to conservative ones, while supporting a candidate who espouses very liberal positions and is aligning himself with and jockeying for a a position with a liberal RINO, McCain. So, we will have McCain as our “standard-bearer”. Thank you for backing the wrong horse that guarantees we will have a Pub candidate for Prez that will go against most of what the conservative base stands for. And it is you Huck fans that will cause this. Romney could win if backed by Pubs, the Huckster has no track record of being able to win with the exception of one state that was chock full of Evangelical voters (Iowa). That is his track record. You seem incapable of seeing the moat in your own eye. And for that all Pubs will lose out.
Course language does not sweeten a stale argument.
Lady, we already lost. When Fred went, that went our last hope for a Conservative nominee.
Bearing false witness is not a conservative value.
I knew I’d get you to agree with me eventually.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
I’m glad to hear you finally acknowledging Romney is a lying liberal fraud. Will you be joining me in supporting “none of the above” ?
He wants to be our President and I want him to be, too. We are limited to how much we can give to his campaign but - correct me if I’m wrong - Mitt Romney has raised more money than any of the other candidates. Little people have donated what they can afford to Mitt. We believe in him. He proved he’s a good businessman by making all that money. I think it’s neat that he is willing to finance his campaign out of his own pocket. He’s not beholden to anyone.
Oh, and my family, too!
The bottom line is even if Huck got out, his support would probably not change anything. His people are tolerating a McCain win by voting for Huck, which says to me they dont like Romney. If they wanted Romney to beat McCain, theyd switch already to Romney. Those left today havent, which indicates to me if Huck dropped, some of his support would stay home, and the rest would go McCain. Thus not changing anything.
That’s because the Huckster supporters can’t get over being one issue candidates and can’t get over the fact that Mitt Romney is a Mormon (as evidenced by the fact that John McInsane and the Huckster are evidentially more liberal than Romney, and have flip flopped on many issues, but only Romney is considered the flip flopper), which is another way of saying they won’t vote for him because he is a Mormon. So we will lose all around. I’m reconciled to it now, and just won’t vote. I’ll sit at home and watch the fiasco on TV. As my state (IL) has 2 Dem Senators, one being Barak, but he’s not up for re-election, and we have a Dem Governor, I don’t have to bother with further down the ticket, because it is all Dem. So, I’ll get my popcorn out, and watch our country go down the toilet that day. Enjoy your phyrric victory.
Lying is not a conservative value. Bearing false witness is also not a conservative value. This is also a violation of the 10 commandments. Are you from one of those religions that requires confessionals?
The last lame argument from those who have none is to falsely characterize their opponent’s position.
