The bottom line is even if Huck got out, his support would probably not change anything. His people are tolerating a McCain win by voting for Huck, which says to me they don’t like Romney. If they wanted Romney to beat McCain, they’d switch already to Romney. Those left today haven’t, which indicates to me if Huck dropped, some of his support would stay home, and the rest would go McCain. Thus not changing anything.

That’s because the Huckster supporters can’t get over being one issue candidates and can’t get over the fact that Mitt Romney is a Mormon (as evidenced by the fact that John McInsane and the Huckster are evidentially more liberal than Romney, and have flip flopped on many issues, but only Romney is considered the flip flopper), which is another way of saying they won’t vote for him because he is a Mormon. So we will lose all around. I’m reconciled to it now, and just won’t vote. I’ll sit at home and watch the fiasco on TV. As my state (IL) has 2 Dem Senators, one being Barak, but he’s not up for re-election, and we have a Dem Governor, I don’t have to bother with further down the ticket, because it is all Dem. So, I’ll get my popcorn out, and watch our country go down the toilet that day. Enjoy your phyrric victory.
