Jim, I'm there with you on abortion. Had it not been for the endorsement of Dr. John Wilke I doubt I'd be holding my nose and going with Romney to stop McCain.

Dr. Willke's fervent support should help erase doubts about Romney's commitment to the pro-life cause, which has been questioned due to his former position in support of abortion when he was governor of Massachusetts.

Said Romney, "I am proud to have the support of a man who has meant so much to the pro-life movement in our country. He knows how important it is to have someone in Washington who will actively promote pro-life policies. Policies that include more than appointing judges who will follow the law but also opposing taxpayer funded abortion and partial birth abortion. I look forward to working with Dr. Willke and welcome him to Romney for President."

Dr. Willke, helped found the National Right To Life Committee and served for 10 years as its president. Dr. Willke serves as president of the Life Issues Institute, Inc., and president of the International Right to Life Federation."

Yes but that was back in Oct 2007

As of Jan 28, 2008, the National Right to Life has said that Mike Huckabee is the most pro-life of the remaining candidates

“National Right to Life is grateful for the strong pro-life record established by Mike Huckabee as governor of Arkansas, and recognizes that Governor Huckabee has taken the strongest pro-life position on all of the life issues of any of the remaining candidates for president.”

Oh dont worry, they also acknowledged RINO Romney’s recent and latest flip..

“National Right to Life also appreciates the pro-life position taken in this presidential campaign by former governor Mitt Romney.”

LOL

John Wilke will have to answer to God....as will all of us.

He's responsible for his decisions/actions/endorsement...

..I'm responsible for my decisions, etc.

However, more weight is given someone who was percieved as principled leader & a defender of the unborn.

How he can approve/endorse this man who is abortion minded to his very core, I don't know.

I leave him to answer to God.

Man will fail me....God never will.
