Who do you think would be selected for the most important Cabinet positions?
Defense
Homeland Security
Attorney General
State
The full Cabinet:
The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments-the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, and the Attorney General. Under President George W. Bush, Cabinet-level rank also has been accorded to the Administrator, Environmental Protection Agency; Director, Office of Management and Budget; the Director, National Drug Control Policy; and the U.S. Trade Representative.
McCain: SECDEF = Schwarzkopf, Franks, someone like that.
Obama: SECDEF = John Kerry
Mrs. Clinton: SECDEF = John Murtha
Here’s a bonus question: in a Clinton administration, what role would Bill play?
Another reason McCain is dangerous.
Supreme Court, maybe.
U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.?
Of course! Either Wes “Ashley Wilkes” Clark or John Murtha would be the Hildabeast’s Secretary of Defense.
John Kerry would be Obama’s Secretary of Defense.
Old Yellow Stain McCain will pick people that he trusts with his strawberries and who won’t steer the ship over the towline.
Mrs. Clinton: SECDEF = John Murtha
Secretary of Defense John Kerry....what a painful thought.
It would all look the same.
McCain might actually get some good people around him. He certainly can’t do any worse job than Bush. Filling the cabinet is another reason I wanted Fred, as I think he would have filled it with the best for the job, not just for political favors.
Obama: SECDEF = John Kerry

You should write horror stories.
Anybody with "CFR" after the name.
It is a cinch bet that they ALL will be members of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Globalism uber alles.
Whoever Hillary picks will have to be okay with being irrelevant for the next four to eight years. Wandering Willy will be her top advisor and mouthpiece making the office of VP pointless. The only person I can think of who fits that would be Bill Richardson. Possibly Algore, although he'd be perfect for her Energy Secretary or Interior Sec.
I believe Fred Thompson avioded immediately endorsing anyone to keep the bridges intact. Romney ought to have a reporter ask him about his VP possibilities. Then, without picking Fred, say "... any of the candidates who ran this year would make a fine VP choice, like Senatoe Thompson for example... but that would be speculative at this time. There's a long way to go..."
John McCain will never be the President so to speculate on his cabinet would be moot.
LOL
By the looks of this thread, a LOT less dangerous than Hitlery or Obama!!!
Gen. Petraeus is not eligible to be SecDef as there’s a 10-year minimum gap required between military service and appointment as SecDef:
10 USC Sect. 113 says:
(a) There is a Secretary of Defense, who is the head of the Department of Defense, appointed from civilian life by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. A person may not be appointed as Secretary of Defense within 10 years after relief from active duty as a commissioned officer of a regular component of an armed force.
I think Hildy would appoint Bubba as Ambassador to the U.N.
Obama for Dept of Homeland Security:
Tom Daschle’s wife, the airline lobbyist (Tom Daschle is working on Obama’s campaign big-time.)
