No offense, but Filthadelphia is home to the surliest people on the eastern seaboard. People from "Bawlimer" are practically aristocratic compared to "Iggles" fans.
BTW: WTF is up with "hoagies?" I live and work at the midpoint between NY and Philly, so I do get Philly people always telling me how they are going to pick up "hoagies" and put "jimmies" on their ice cream.
Hoagie=sub...except superior. ;)
LOL! I actually heard that phrase in Atlantic City NJ when I was there for a summer.
“Whats a hoagie? Oh, you mean a sub!”
Of course, that was in the 70s. :)
I think the methodology for the most miserable city should include Parking Ticket revenues raised.
My goodness, I watched that A&E show “Parking Wars” and there is no chance I would ever put a wheel in that town.
Add in tossing out the Boy Scouts and Philly needs the toilet handle jiggled to flush that town away....
I remember going to a “Deli” in the Poconos and asking for a Ham and Cheese Wedge. The said “a what”. I do not use the term Hoagie I say “sandwich”. I can’t even get the word Hoagie out of my mouth to say it is too embarrassing.
