And if so--so what? The same thing's been said (for what it's worth) about Einstein and Thomas Edison.
But the best response comes from Popeye: "I yam what I yam"

I agree with that, Weisberg said when presented the possibility that Bush has a learning disability. I'll be he can't wait to vote against Bush in the election!

From watching him, I don’t think he has a learning problem but a hearing one.
Thats why his speech is sometimes weird when it comes to properly saying certain words.

A learning disability can be overcome. Liberalism is terminal.

Actually, the two kids in our family who seemed to have a bit of dyslexia did better than most of the others, because they had to work harder.
It’s well known that Bush did better in college than either clinton or gore, and he also made much more of a success out of his life.
I suspect you can add about 50 points to the IQs of most Republican presidents from what you read in the press, and subtract about 50 points from the Democrats.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all to learn that Bush is a bit dyslexic. So what?

OK............I’ll bite on this....if bush has a learning diability, he is protected under the ADA...that means he cannot be impeached, fired or disciplined for any reason because of his disability...

The President's dyslexia has been pretty well documented over the years. What possible reason is there for this to be brought up again now? He is not running for anything.
All one needs for confirmation is to hear President Bush speak in a natural setting, off the cuff with no prepared remarks. He is amazing to listen to with his knowledge and free flow of ideas. It is reading/reciting a prepared speech that throws him. One of the reasons he hates telepromters, IIRC.

Well, if you google “famous people with dislexia”, you’ll find folks like Einstein, Edison, Curie, etc.

However, Weisberg did give Bush some credit and say Bush’s business interests were not the determining factor of the 2002 U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Well Jacob Weisberg has a problem with easily checked facts. The invasion of Iraq didn't happen till the spring of 2003.

Your local High School newspaper probably has a readership larger than Slate's.
Does its stock price still have a negative sign before it?

Have you heard about the ADA? Dyslectics Against Drugs.
Their slogan is, “Just say on.”
Thankyou thankyou. I’ll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waitress.

Amazing how someone with a "learning disability" has consistently kicked the asses of the far superior Democrats for two elections and eight years. This in the face of, at least, 3 years of 100% negative media coverage.
Kinda reminds me of the stupid, bumbling, incompetent Reagan.
