I could only vote Hillary in the primary and only because Tennessee has “open primaries”. In the general, I’d write in or go 3rd party just to help see to it that she didn’t get 51% of the popular vote.

We could avoid voting for President, but we must win the House and Senate back to protect us from the bad ideas liberals and rinos have.

That "we" that you refer to is false. Hello? Those folks in your "we" aren't protecting, they're surrendering. Romney is all for surrendering your right to keep homosexuals out of the Boy Scouts! Or at least he was, I don't know where he stands now -- Heck, he fought against your right! That's just one guy, Romney. Then you've got McCain ...

The ship is headed on the wrong course. To change course, we have to change behavior. For me personally, that means changing my vote to a "we" that is dependable and consistent in that they will always opt for limited government. This is a war within the Republican party for conservative limited government thinkers, and liberal intrusive government thinkers.

Intrusive thinkers lose my vote. Zero. Zilch. Adios.

Please, please do not "not vote" - do NOT give Hillary the popular vote. Vote third party so she will only have a plurality, not a majority.

Amen, girl.

Why didn't more prominent conservatives endorse Duncan when they had the chance???

There was tremendous interest in Duncan Hunter. People who were interested went to look at what grass roots organization he was starting up. It did not exist. That means that he wanted to make soe points and move on. He was not serious about his run.

I am tired of just not voting. Why not form a Conservative Party and run a 3rd party nominee.

Finally a voice of common sense & practicality throughout these threads.I am not a McCain fan but the alternative is a Marxist in liberal democrat clothing who will make 8 years of Bubba seem like 8 years of Ronaldus Magnus. If self annointed conservatives want to a Pyhrric victory by not voting, then they will see an American version of Euro Socialism with a Stalinist bent along with a destruction of our military and Islamofascism run amok.Good bye USA.McCain will keep the Military strong and continue to bolster National Security - which trumps all.

Now look, Coyote, swords are usually double-edged, and Hillary is no exception. There's a gamble that there'd be some serious positives from her. Four years of that representing the Democrat Party? They all hate her, too! I still think that in her way, Hillary's a gift. We might at least as well consider the possibilities!

The trick is for Republican voters to pick up the shambles wisely, and a sad thing is that only one radio talk show host that I'm aware of, possibly two, maybe three, seem to get like I do that this is limited versus intrusive government within the Republican party. Rush -- but then you can count on Rush to be the same even after 18 years, he's that grounded -- and maybe Larry Elder and John Ziegler. The rest of them, it just goes right over their heads. Off the radar.

I'm so awful that I have a plan to affect some change. Republicans everywhere should just make it number one priority, I don't care who you are, to insist, demand, pressure our representatives -- that you have to show photo ID to vote. No election is legitmate without that requirement. By rights it should be proof of citizenship, as I believe it was in the old days. But hey, photo ID is a good start.

See what happens after that. Votes talk. BS walks. Giving it to Hillary by a plurality is the only way I can tell the intrusive government RINOs to take a hike.

"If McQueeg is the RePub nominee...I will not be voting Republican."

A vote for McPain or vote for the Dems ammounts to the same thing anyway.

“Why didn’t more prominent conservatives endorse Duncan when they had the chance???”

All it takes is money to brainwash short sighted, pleasure seeking consumers (the new American). Globalists have the money, and the only candidates left standing in either party are Globalists. Clearly, the United States has been conquered without firing a shot. The US will be merged with Mexico. The crashing Dollar will continue to drop until eventually replaced by an Amero. The United States is rapidly going the way of the Confederate States into the dust bin of Libraries and the memories of the few who remember what was.

I don’t know .. maybe it would be a good idea to saddle the Democrats with the economy for the next four years? What damage can they do - sell our nuke secrets to the Communist Chinese? (again)

"In the expectation that he would disappoint me, I was not disappointed."

Is that so?
Has he really disappointed you more than, say, Ronald Reagan, who put Sandy Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court?
Along with Anthony Kennedy?

No one is holding out for perfect. We are holding out for "not hideously flawed and ready to destroy the conservative movement for decades." I know that seems unreasonable to the win-at-any-cost Republicans. It's not to me.

Bulls eye.

Perhaps it is just me, but when a question is thrown to Dr.Paul and he enumerates a constitutional fidelity which should be adhered to by the Administrative branch and the Legislative branch, I saw McCain and Romney turn their noses up at....what.....the notion that the constitution should be honored, and if it needs changing, then let us change it constitutionally. Those 2 elitist bastards need to remove the beam in their own eyes before they play Paul off for a fool. That said, Paul is not electible, but the disrespect these two show disgusts me nearly as much as Hildabeast.

He was not serious about his run.

I have always believed that Hunter was just setting a foundation for a more serious run in 4 years.

right.
we will vote Repubs for other than Pres tickets, but if the choice is McCain, no way.

As much as I dislike Bush for his RINO ways and kissing up to the likes of the Clintons, Kennedy’s and other Dems, I’d vote for Bush if he could do a 3rd term, in a heartbeat over McCain...a RINO who makes Bush look good, incredible as that is.

McCain is all over the place in his talk.

McCain is the Howard Dean of the Repub Party.

In fact, he would be the Howard Dean of the Dem Party.

I’m with you. Time is wasting. Who is willing to run? I’d like Jeff Sessions, if he’s willing.
