Please let us put “acting” in it’s proper perspective. The epitome of an “acting” career is an Academy award. It separates those truly talented people that have spent a lifetime honing their “craft”.

Not sure what your point is, but as far as I am concerned watching Charlize Theron’s portrayal of Eileen Wuornos was a jaw dropping, absolutely astonishingly brilliant performance.
If her performance in that film was not great acting, then there has never been great acting in any film.
