Re: Charlize Theron

Please let us put “acting” in it’s proper perspective. The epitome of an “acting” career is an Academy award. It separates those truly talented people that have spent a lifetime honing their “craft”.

Tatum O’Neil won an Oscar for her FIRST film role in Paper Moon at TEN years of age.

Haing S. Ngor won his Oscar for taking time off from his medical practice so he could make his FIRST film called The Killing Fields.

So for the life of me I don’t understand the greatest of oxymorons, a talented actor

Not sure what your point is, but as far as I am concerned watching Charlize Theron’s portrayal of Eileen Wuornos was a jaw dropping, absolutely astonishingly brilliant performance.

If her performance in that film was not great acting, then there has never been great acting in any film.
