We have less than a week to stop McCain.

Any suggestions how to do that? I can only see one, and it would never work. The Romney backers would not switch to Huckabee if he dropped out and endorsed Huckabee. The Huckabee backers are even less likely to back Romney if he drops out and backs Romney. Maybe if they both dropped out and endorsed Ron Paul? (just kidding on that.)

You aren’t giving people enough credit for thinking for themselves. Just because, say, Fred Thompson “told” me to vote for McCain and endorsed him doesn’t mean I’m going to do it.

As I posted earlier:

FredHeads put pressure on Fred to endorse Romney; Romney taps Fred as VP. Fred works the South and Midwest, Romney works North and West.

The Huckabee voters will have to move to Romney.

I’m talking about working together here. Probably won’t happen, but it must.
